I prefer traveling in Third AC now , and not because of comfort, but because of safety concerns. Earlier, such harassment was mostly limited to Sleeper and General coaches, where groups of transgender individuals would often create uncomfortable situations for passengers. But now, the situation has worsened they are entering Third AC coaches as well and troubling people without hesitation. Passengers pay full fare expecting a safe and peaceful journey, not to be left dealing with harassment on their own. It’s the responsibility of Indian Railways to ensure proper security across all classes, not leave travelers at the mercy of such situations. Safety and dignity during travel shouldn’t be a luxury it’s a basic right.

Dear IRCTC, Dear Ashwini Vaishnaw, Date: 23 May 2026 Time: 5:15 AM Train: Golden Temple (12903) This is not a general coach. This is the condition of a sleeper coach. There was not even enough space to walk to the washroom. People were sleeping on the floor, near the doors, and everywhere possible. The TC came and saw everything, but did not say a single word. It looks like this has become normal for Indian Railways. I have sympathy for these passengers, but if Railways already know that general coach passengers are more, then why not add more general coaches? Why are sleeper coaches being turned into general coaches every day? For years, passengers have been raising the same issue, posting photos and videos, tagging officials, and still nothing changes. Indian Railways talks about modernization and new trains, but what about basic crowd management and passenger safety in normal trains? And please, do not ask me for the PNR. Asking for the PNR will not solve this issue. This is not one passenger’s problem. This is the daily reality of thousands of people.

This video has been shared on X . The exact date is not known, but it is being reported as from the Bundelkhand Express. The train coach is infested with a large number of cockroaches, causing serious inconvenience and distress to passengers. Such conditions are unacceptable and a direct threat to hygiene and public health. We demand a thorough investigation into this matter, strict punishment for those responsible, and immediate cancellation of the vendor’s licence. No railway authority even seemed bothered to address the situation. The Green Electric Bus Command and Control Center Punjab has started operations. This center serves as the hub for monitoring and managing the entire bus system. From here, every bus is monitored to ensure timely arrivals and departures, improved routes, and reduced waiting times for passengers. Drivers are monitored through onboard cameras and advanced AI systems, and if a driver shows signs of drowsiness or inattention, they are immediately alerted. Special attention is being given to the women’s compartments to ensure they are protected from harassment and can travel safely and without fear. Travel is now cashless and paperless through T-Cash cards. This system helps continuously improve services using data. Steps are also being taken to protect the environment by shifting towards solar energy, while safe and comfortable travel, especially for women, children, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities remains a top priority. This is clean, economical, safe, and modern public transport for Punjab.
