Hills I will die on as an elementary school teacher, who just wrapped up my 32nd year teaching! 1. If you are not PASSIONATE about blessing, serving, and empowering those you are blessed to teach, this profession is not for you. 2. Our students are not “ours”. They are their families, and we need to understand the magnitude of the calling, and responsibility we have to meet them where they are, and to help them to get to a place that they never thought possible. 3. As important as the curriculum is (and it IS important), the children in our classroom are what matter most. It’s our JOB to teach the curriculum to SERVE our students, NOT to use our students to push any sort of agenda. 4. Just as we teach our students to “leave things better than they found them”, we need to leave our students better than they were when they first entered into our classroom. Never let a day pass without pouring into each and every child. 5. We should not teach our children WHAT to think, but HOW to think, and how to use that knowledge to bless and serve not only themselves, but the world around them. 6. Our words carry little (or NO value), if we do not practice what we preach. 7. If we don’t make learning fun, children will view learning as a chore, and we we will be creating a generation of children who grow up to be young adults who don’t see the joy in learning new things. 8. The child that may be “difficult to reach/teach” (the one who may get on your last nerve more than you could ever imagine), is someone’s EVERYTHING. Get to know them as human beings, find out what motivates them, and do everything you can to help them to thrive. 9. Never tell a child they “can’t” do something. God has blessed each of them with far more strengths and talents than we may know, and it’s not our job to tell them what they can’t do, but to help them to realize all the things they CAN do. 10. The legacy you leave as a teacher will never be determined by your student’s test scores, but by the human beings you helped them become throughout their lives.

"Their owner passed away alone in his apartment. Nobody found him for three days. The dogs waited the whole time." When animal control finally arrived, Max and Buddy were sitting by the front door. Not destructive. Not panicked. Just sitting. Waiting. Doing what he had always taught them to do. They came to our shelter with nothing. No records. No vet history. No family contact. Just each other. And one old tennis ball that somebody thought to grab on the way out. That was eleven days ago. Every morning they sit at the kennel door and wait. One issue I truly hope will finally be correctly addressed post revolution, is the stray dog situation in Iran. Iran has absolutely beautiful dogs. They are gentle, affectionate, and remarkably calm. I’m the type of person who will run up to a dog and start petting it without hesitation, often forgetting that a dog could react aggressively, especially in Iran, where many of these poor animals have endured harsh lives. Yet I have never had a single negative experience with stray dogs in Iran. I have carried them, washed them, and cared for them, and not once did they show any sign of aggression. There are compassionate individuals trying to help where they can. Some people have built small informal networks with local butchers to collect leftover bones and scraps so they can at least feed the dogs. These efforts come from genuine care and personal sacrifice. But this is not a structural solution. It is only a bandage on a deep wound. The current way the government handles the stray population is cruel and inhumane. Dogs are captured, their mouths are taped shut, and they are left to slowly starve. At the same time, ordinary people face heavy restrictions on keeping dogs. Small dogs can sometimes be hidden inside apartments, but larger ones are nearly impossible to keep. If you walk your dog outside, you risk it being confiscated. Even inside your own home, a hostile neighbor can report you simply for owning a dog, and authorities can act on that complaint. This creates an environment where ownership is punished, while the real problem continues unchecked on the streets. What Iran needs is a humane, practical, and modern solution: 1. A nationwide Catch–Neuter–Vaccinate–Release (CNVR) program 2. Properly managed municipal shelters with medical standards 3. Public education and cultural change We have many urgente matters to attend to after this vile and evil regime falls.

💔💔💔💔💔 USED ABUSED AND THROWN ON THE STREETS !!!! Reading the above you would think im talking about the Balkans ..... NO WE'RE ABOUT RIGHT HERE IN THE UK 😡😡😡😡 5 ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED RETRIEVERS DUMPED 1 BY 1 FROM A CAR ABUSED , MALNOURISHED, MATTED AND COMPLETELY BROKEN. JUST IMAGINE THAT FOR 1 MINUTE 💔💔💔 Luckily, these beautiful dogs were spotted by absolute angels, and an amazing group of people came together and made these boys safe. Of course, dog wardens were called, and the answer was SORRY WE HAVE NOWHERE FOR THEM TO GO AND THEY WILL BE PTS 💔💔 Thankfully, one of the angels had a farm and was able to give them shelter and care for the last week whilst desperately looking for someone to help them. One of our Facebook members contacted Louise and told her their plight and of course, straight away she said yes. WE HAVE TO HELP🙏🙏 So now to the dogs and how they are, they are not good, its absolutely heartbreaking 💔 5 boy golden retrievers likely have been used for breeding/puppy farming 😡. All varying ages, 1 very old boy. 1 has a neck injury we think from being tied up, he is also severely matted. 4 are terrified , 1 petrified. We have an old boy who is ok . WHAT WE NEED .... Louise has arranged for them to be transported to our kennels this weekend so firstly they can decompress and secondly we can get them all vet checked. They are all underweight un-neutered and some may be in pain 💔. NOW THIS IS THE UK SO WE ARE TALKING THOUSANDS HERE TO NOT HUNDREDS IN VET BILLS . The plan is that once we get them sorted medically we then can place them in fosters. The older boy is an absolute star and I believe can go into foster after his vet check. WE NEED ABSOLUTELY EVERY FOLLOWER TO HELP US TO HELP THEM. THEY HAVE NO VOICE AND WE MUST BE THEIRS 💔🐾 IF YOU CAN'T DONATE.. 🆘🆘She has spent half of her life in the shelter system.😭 Since 2022, Remy #A2061031 has been passed from one place to another, & returned again and again for the same reason…“too much energy.” Too much life, too much joy and too much dog for people who weren’t ready or a good match for her! So she kept losing everything over & over again. But today… we have a chance to finally change that 🙏🏻 We can give her what she needs to thrive. Remy is getting her shot, her real chance, but we can’t do it alone. We need help to bring her to safety, to cover her care, her transport, her supplies, her vet visit… and most importantly, we need a place for her to land. 🚨Just a temporary foster in SoCal for 2–3 weeks, somewhere calm where she can breathe & decompress after everything she’s been through. ❤️‍🩹🫂I am feeling better today than I have on the previous days, my friends, but unfortunately, I still feel very tired, and my body and mind are so exhausted by our terrible situation. I did not yet feel well enough to visit the camp today, so the meals were distributed by my cousin, where they distributed a yellow rice dish and also some fruit juice. Things are very miserable here in 💔🇵🇸#Gaza, life is worse than hell itself. The bombings are very intense and frequent, and every day we hear of more people who have died from starvation or lack of medical attention. It is no life at all, my friends. Every day that the borders are closed to aid, there becomes less goods available to us and what's left costs so much it could make you cry, which is why we desperately need more donations if we are to continue to distribute meals for those who will starve without us. 💔I don't know what to do anymore, my friends. We are in a hopeless situation, desperately trying to stay alive and to show the world we want to stay alive. We need more of everything, every kind of aid that exists, and people are dying everywhere from every kind of miserable death you can think of. 🙏😢People are more desperate than they have ever been, my friends, and the danger is higher and more terrifying than ever. The bombing is everywhere, in all directions, and they target residents in their homes, so we know we are constantly at risk. It is the third and last day of Eid, but I am struggling to be cheerful when our circumstances are so miserable. The people who are forced to live out years of their lives in tents are constantly on my mind, constantly at risk and terrified at every moment. It's hard enough to listen to the drones and planes from within our homes, but under a fabric roof, it must feel so much worse. Parents are so worried about their children as everyone grows thinner, and it feels awful not to be able to provide our camp with clean water so that they can at least hydrate and feel clean. With dirty water, they constantly face sickness and disease, and I worry about the already thin and malnourished people who are not fit to recover from such terrible circumstances. Prices remain insanely high, at first I laugh, but then I feel like I could cry. The generator we are raising funding for costs $28000! How are we to survive these miserable circumstances with such high prices imposed onto us? It feels so cruel. The greedy merchants who take everything from us are souless, they pay no mind to who will live or die thanks to their cruel pricing. 🫂💔As an animal lover ever since I was a small child, it breaks my heart to see the condition of the animals in the streets. Every type of living thing is targeted by this seige, and the animals are suffering terribly from it. The animals that are still alive are skin and bones, and every type of canned meat is running out, leaving even those who rescue or look after their own pets unable to find adequate food to distribute. People have had to release their beloved pets to the wild to give them the best shot to survive so that they can find their own food or a safer place to be. It is more than heartbreaking, my friends. I am deeply worried about finding food for my cat shelter, and I desperately want to buy some of the last canned food available before there is nothing left at all. Please will you help me? Time feels like it is running out, my friends. Without a water generator, with diminishing food supplies, donations dropping, and the danger surrounding us, our deaths feel inevitable. Universities and High Schools have not moved rapidly enough to guide students to have skills for the next decade. THEY HAVE FAILED. It is a massive crisis that can be averted by understanding what AI and Robotics will bring about. Solutions are knowing how to use these tools and new industries that will rise. But this situation is also on ALL OF US. No “job” is safe from founder to entry level in most industries. You and I, by what we do, will be “replaced” ultimately. What to do? AI and Robotics are tools, the next decade is owned by those who know how to use them expertly, but this is also temporary. We have to understand that what we do for “work” will change giving ultimately a greater value to those that are: Creative Flexible Always learning Willing to be wrong Love being human Love being alive Know history Covet wisdom Knowing all tech has downsides Building strong family and friends Realize many institutions have failed The first four are required for you to be able to live through this period with your sanity intact. The rest will allow you to thrive. There are no true careers at this point anymore. There are advocation and vocations which will either earn you money or give life meaning. We will learn that we are not “what we do”, just like we knew for 99% of human existence. Let that sink in. — You and I are far, far ahead of knowing this and we can do two things: 1) Laugh at the “clueless” 2) Help people understand with grace Go to Reddit if you are 1, in fact don’t follow me because you will not like this next decade and what I post. You are 2 and thank you. Even if you and I have not solved this issue, we can help people understand what is ahead and with determination and creativity bound together to solve it locally. Or human family has done this millions of times. The evidence is: you are here. The Neo Luddite movement has not even begun and it will potentially rip apart society even more than all the fashionable moment in the recent past has. These Luddites will have a good point with the wrong answers cooked up by dying academics that cling to labels, “virtues” and victim hood. It will be readymade for some governments to enter in as “big daddy” to “help us”. You will not like what they do, but you will only know when it is too late. It will include YOU “volunteering” to “leave” by 60, to “help out” CanadaPod style. “Brian, I’m 24 what do I do?”. I hope to do much more here to help. But I do know this: 1) Learn a trade or vocation because it’s valuable. It may also be free to low cost if you do it right. 2) Learn everything you can about USING AI and TRAINING YOUR AI. Your expertise will be in the top 1% for a decade. But not forever. 3) Understand Bitcoin and how it will rise while other things sink. This is a short list for now. We will know more moving forward. When you see videos like this posted below, know one thing: Many of these folks had no real family of mental and physical support. Maybe no parent or one parent. Maybe only a broke system to prepare them for—nothing. This was not their doing. Now it is not your “job” to help them, it is your survival to help them if that is what you need. See some day after the dust settles these 20 year olds will be 40 year olds and running YOUR world. And at some point you may need them more than you think you do. These Luddites will have a good point with the wrong answers cooked up by dying academics that cling to labels, “virtues” and victim hood. It will be readymade for some governments to enter in as “big daddy” to “help us”. You will not like what they do, but you will only know when it is too late. But I do know this: 1) Learn a trade or vocation because it’s valuable. It may also be free to low cost if you do it right. 2) Learn everything you can about USING AI and TRAINING YOUR AI. Your expertise will be in the top 1% for a decade. But not forever. 3) Understand Bitcoin and how it will rise while other things sink. This is a short list for now. We will know more moving forward. Urgent resuce 💔 Got a very stressed and heartbreaking call today. Someone shifted their home and left behind a Labrador tied near a drain. Since morning, this innocent soul has been standing there helplessly in the scorching heat, waiting and hoping for his family to come back for him. Some kind people spotted him and informed us. We are now going to rescue this sweet dog. He looks like a one-year-old Labrador puppy, extremely docile, innocent, and completely unaware of why he was abandoned by the people he trusted the most. We truly fail to understand how people can do this to an animal who only knows how to love unconditionally. This is truly disheartening and painful to witness. Always remember pets are not toys, status symbols, or temporary companions. They are living beings with emotions, attachment, and hearts that break too. A pet is a lifetime commitment. If someone cannot stand by a pet for life, then please do not bring one home in the first place. There is absolutely no compulsion to keep a pet, but once you do, you become their entire world and family. Abandoning them on the streets after they have trusted and loved you is one of the cruelest things a person can do. Please keep this sweet soul in your kind prayers. We hope he heals not just physically, but emotionally too, after this betrayal. #dogs #AnimalAbuse
