The UGC NET exam was held on 18th June 2024 and cancelled next day. About 9.18 lac students took the exam. The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination centre (I4C) disclosed that the exam paper was available on dark web on 27th June, a day before the exam day. The MoE confirmed that exam paper was being sold for Rs.5000 on telegram channels a day before the exam date. The CBI concluded there was no actual paper leak and filed a closure report. The entire episode was traced back to a school student who doctored a screenshot of the genuine UGC-NET question paper from 18 June 2024, backdating it to 17 June, to give the impression he had obtained it a day before the exam. The UGC NET 2024 was conducted all over again because I4C and MoE raised a false alarm to cancel an exam. And 9 lac students suffered!!

He said the new Masinde Muliro International Stadium was going to be ready by December 2024. NTV visited the same stadium in June 2026, over 2 years later. It's a grazing field with grass longer than the cows themselves. The infrastructure is dilapidated and may have to be replaced anew. What really is the problem with My President and his promises? The woman was walking near East 1st Avenue and Commercial Drive when the suspect, who was walking in the opposite direction, allegedly elbowed her in the face. Vancouver Police previously issued a release in March 2026, after the same suspect was charged in connection with four alleged stranger assaults against women in the downtown core. Dylan Brandon Gaita, 29, is now charged with one count of assault in relation to the June 29 incident. He is currently in custody. VPD is asking any member of the public who may have witnessed the June 29 incident, or have witnessed a similar incident in the past, to contact police. Investigators believe there may be additional victims who have yet to come forward. “Incidents like this are serious and frightening for victims and witnesses,” says Constable Megan Lui. “Some people may feel too upset to talk to us. We encourage anyone with information to come forward and speak with investigators as they work on this case.”

They pretend to be genuine customers and distracted the shop attendant, who was seated inside a secure cashier’s booth that limited her view of the entire shop. They distracted the shop attendant with their constant movements around the shop and repeatedly asked her to check prices on the POS system. While her attention was focused on assisting them, other members of the group took advantage of the distraction and carried out the theft without her noticing at the time. The incident was only discovered later after reviewing the shop’s CCTV footage. The group stole two 48V 100AH batteries which cost around US$1,000.
