Good. The Aug Nome iteration synced F-35s with HIMARS on a ~135-mile simulated strike while F-16s ran DCA against inbound F-35s. High North isn’t empty space — it’s a defended approach. USNORTHCOM:

CENTCOM Forces Strike Multiple Houthi Targets in Yemen U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces conducted multiple precision strikes against Iran-backed Houthi targets in Sana’a and coastal locations within Houthi-controlled territory in Yemen, Dec. 30 and 31. On Dec. 30 and 31, U.S. Navy ships and aircraft targeted a Houthi command and control facility and advanced conventional weapon (ACW) production and storage facilities that included missiles and uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAV). These facilities were used in Houthi operations, such as attacks against U.S. Navy warships and merchant vessels in the southern Red Sea and Gulf of Aden. In addition, U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force aircraft destroyed a Houthi coastal radar site and seven cruise missiles and one-way attack UAVs over the Red Sea. There were no injuries or damage to U.S. personnel or equipment in either incident. The strikes are a part of CENTCOM's effort to degrade Iran-backed Houthi efforts to threaten regional partners and military and merchant vessels in the region.

🇺🇸 Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States Armed Forces, General Dan Caine: 📌 “This operation was so precise that it involved more than 150 aircraft launched across the Western Hemisphere (F-22 Raptors, F-35s, F/A-18 Super Hornets), operating in close coordination. They converged simultaneously, at the right time and place, for a single objective: to insert investigative and capture forces into the center of Caracas, while preserving the element of tactical surprise.” 📌 “Even a minor delay in any component of this well-synchronized machine could have placed the entire mission at risk, and failure is never an option for the United States joint force. Those who were in the skies over Caracas last night were prepared to sacrifice their lives for those operating on the ground and aboard the helicopters.” 📌 “At 22:46 Eastern Time, the President issued the order for the advance of United States military forces. He told us, ‘Good luck, and God be with you,’ and those words were transmitted to the entire joint force. Throughout the night, aircraft launched from 20 different land and sea bases across the Western Hemisphere.” 📌 “In total, more than 150 aircraft were airborne last night — including bombers, fighter jets, intelligence and surveillance platforms, and helicopters (rotary-wing aircraft, including the V-22 Osprey).” ▪️ The operation was named “Absolute Resolve.” It involved 150 aircraft. U.S. forces were already in position and had been preparing since early December. ▪️ “This operation, known as Operation ‘Absolute Resolve,’ was covert, precise, and executed during the darkest hours of January 2. It was the culmination of months of planning and rehearsals — an operation that, quite frankly, only the armed forces of the United States could conduct.” ▪️ “Our interagency work began months ago and was built on decades of experience integrating complex air, land, space, and maritime operations. Over the past two decades, our special operations forces have refined these capabilities to near perfection. This mission required synchronized cooperation across every element of our joint force — soldiers, sailors, aviators, Marines, and Space Force personnel — working alongside our intelligence community and law-enforcement partners in this unprecedented operation.” See the latest updates with us: Visioner

U.S. Forces, Allies Conduct Joint Strikes in Yemen As part of ongoing international efforts to respond to increased Houthi destabilizing and illegal activities in the region, on Jan. 22 at approximately 11:59 p.m. (Sanaa / Yemen time), U.S. Central Command forces alongside UK Armed Forces, and with the support from Australia, Bahrain, Canada, and the Netherlands, conducted strikes on 8 Houthi targets in Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist-controlled areas of Yemen. These strikes from this multilateral coalition targeted areas in Houthi-controlled Yemen used to attack international merchant vessels and U.S. Navy ships in the region. The targets included missile systems and launchers, air defense systems, radars, and deeply buried weapons storage facilities. These strikes are intended to degrade Houthi capability to continue their reckless and unlawful attacks on U.S. and U.K. ships as well as international commercial shipping in the Red Sea, Bab Al-Mandeb Strait, and the Gulf of Aden. These strikes are separate and distinct from the multinational freedom of navigation actions performed under Operation Prosperity Guardian.

🇮🇱 The Israeli Air Force has released its first official report: 📌 “Since the early morning hours, approximately 200 fighter aircraft, under the direction of Military Intelligence and Air Force command, have carried out a large-scale strike on the missile systems and defensive infrastructure of Iran’s terrorist regime in western and central Iran.” 📌 “This is the largest aerial operation in the history of the Israeli Air Force, conducted with meticulous planning and high-quality intelligence, involving synchronized action by hundreds of aircraft. Air Force planes dropped hundreds of bombs on approximately 500 targets, including air defense systems and missile launch sites across various sectors of Iran.” 📌 “The strike on defense systems enabled the achievement of air superiority over Iranian airspace and dealt a heavy blow to the regime’s primary offensive capabilities — particularly ballistic missile launchers located in western Iran.” 🟨 The U.S.–Israel air operation against Iran has now been underway for more than 11 hours. Aircraft are reportedly flying inside Iranian airspace — including over Tehran — without losses. At this time, not a single U.S. or Israeli fighter jet has been shot down or even damaged.

“Over the course of the night, aircraft began launching from 20 different bases, on land and sea, across the Western Hemisphere. In total, more than 150 aircraft, bombers, fighters, intel, recon, and rotary wing aircraft were in the air.” The 150+ aircraft worked in “close coordination, all coming together... to layer effects for a single purpose: to get an interdiction force into downtown Caracas while maintaining the element of tactical surprise.” As the operation began, the helicopters with the extraction force, which included law enforcement officers, took off and began their flight into Venezuela at 100 feet above the water. “As they approached Venezuelan shores, the U.S. began layering different effects provided by SPACECOM, CYBERCOM, and other members of the interagency to create a pathway.” Overhead, the extraction forces were protected by aircraft from the U.S. Marines, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, and the Air National Guard. The protection package included F-22s, F-35As, F-35Bs, F/A-18E/Fs, EA-18Gs, E-2Ds, B-1B bombers, and other support aircraft, as well as numerous remotely piloted drones. As the package approached Caracas, the joint air component “began dismantling and disabling the air defense systems, employing weapons to ensure the safe passage of the helicopters into the target area.” Delta Force arrived at Maduro’s compound at 01:01 AM EST (02:01 AM local time) on 3 January and descended into the compound. “While apprehending the indicted persons on arrival into the target area, the helicopters came under fire and they replied with overwhelming force in self-defense.” Maduro and his wife surrendered and were taken into custody by the Department of Justice, assisted by the U.S. military, with no loss of U.S. life. After securing Maduro, the force began to prepare for departure “Helicopters were called in to exfiltrate the extraction force while fighter aircraft and remotely piloted aircraft provided overhead coverage and suppressive fire. There were multiple self-defense engagements. As the force began to withdraw out of Venezuela, the force successfully exfiltrated and returned to their afloat launch bases, and the force was over the water.” By 03:29 AM EST, the 160 SOAR MH-47G Chinook transporting the VIP touched down on amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) in the Caribbean Sea. 🇺🇸🇷🇺 The American military demonstrated to Russia how a real combined arms operation should be conducted through the use of air-assault maneuvers, which has caused Russian military bloggers to react with visible outrage. It is worth recalling that on 24 February 2022, Russia’s Airborne Forces launched an airmobile operation from Belarus toward Kyiv, supported by missile strikes and air cover, using attack and transport helicopters. The objective of this blitzkrieg-style maneuver was to seize Antonov Airport in Hostomel, north of Kyiv, establish a bridgehead there, create a secure air corridor for additional airborne troops, and then rapidly advance into the Ukrainian capital with combined forces. Fortunately, Ukrainian forces succeeded in destroying the main elements of the first wave of Russian airmobile groups and significantly damaging Hostomel Airport. As a result, Russian forces failed to achieve operational effectiveness through rapid maneuver, lost critical time, and allowed Ukraine to organize effective resistance, which ultimately led to the expulsion of Russian troops from Kyiv Oblast. By contrast, today U.S. forces first neutralized Caracas’s air defense systems through high-precision missile and air strikes, thereby ensuring a secure air corridor. This was followed by the helicopter insertion of U.S. special operations airmobile groups and the successful on-site operation to detain Nicolás Maduro. See the latest updates with us: Visioner
