He pointed out that Poland already has the infrastructure ready and has offered to host them. Trump responded positively, saying he “might” move troops from Germany to Poland because of their strong relationship and that “Poland would like that.” Poland already hosts around 10,000 U.S. troops, and this would build on that. This does differ a bit from Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s view—he’s wary of “poaching” troops from other allies.
