RFS-

Thank Obama! 😛

🙈😆🤣

Striking during the GWB era.

the renewable fuels standard (RFS) changed the landscape for US Wheat permanently…largely the reason

Thanks, 2005-2007. I'm going to research a bit on that.

Fantastic seeing the changes thru the years. Interesting how Michigan and Missouri popped up out of the blue in the late 50's-early 60's. TY for the look

This is awesome!! Great job.

thank you, just giving back the community 🫡

That is so interesting. I knew what it was going to show in my area. When I was a kid we grew wheat here, seeded clover after and plowed down. Years later did some double cropping w/beans. Then only thing made monetary sense was no wheat. Just corn and beans. Timelapse right on.

I’m wondering about the accuracy… why did NY fall off the map in 2016? The area planted to wheat in NY hasn’t changed significantly in my lifetime. If anything, we plant more wheat today than ever.

😜🇺🇸🤩

literal Peak!

I used to see a lot of wheat and corn in NC as a child/teenager. Still see corn but wheat has largely given way to soybeans, and a lot more cotton lately.

You can see the change where double crop rotation becomes more dominant it seems. Great way to look at it.

Nice map!

thank you! there’s a lot more in the pipeline too..just the surface for now 🫡
