Yup that's wrong 3(X + 5 ) = 29 If you want to divide it by 3 then X + 5 = 29/3 Then X = (29 - 15)/3 X = 14/3 Which is a decimal value 4.66666... periodic so you can say it is 14/3 ≈ 5 but not equal to 5. The video is misleading.

Bullshit. Both methods are solving a different equation 3(x+5)=30. Te equation in the video has as result x=14/3

14/3 = 5? In which world? It's 4.67. Also it had to be written 3x = 29-15 not "3x + 29 - 15" because of you write it like that it's 3x = -14 which is wrong. Also, 29/3 is not 10 but 9.67. Maybe a correct method but those are some serious miscalculations.
