"Use the GPU to optimize the rendering" >30fps on a 1000x1000 map. Absolutely crazy. The switch to simplified hexagons (solid color) isn't even needed btw, I just think it looks cleaner.

For my 3d simulation I needed to implement new rendering. To replace "sphere par particle" with marching cubes. I never implemented that kind of stuff, so I decided to first try a simplified 2d version, the marching squares. It worked, very fast rendering now.

Hellblade 2 run at solid 60fps like you can see since after the enhanced update today on Xbox Series X. It mark the last Xbox first party who was only at 30fps and now at 60fps. Redfall 30fps -> 60fps Starfield 30fps -> 60fps(up to 120fps VRR) Hellblade 2 30fps -> 60fps #Xbox

I learned how to use the GPU Profiler, and I was able to optimize the game enough that even I can play it at 100% resolution and around 60fps now! And that's with the screen recorder going too. Turns out there was a render target eating up about 20fps this whole time!

I am at the 4th iteration on the pixel inspector and light path debugging tool. Eventually I moved the path collection to the GPU, so I don't have to toggle between CPU and GPU rendering, making the visualization fully interactive.

🐰 about personal color…i don’t think i’m sensitive to the tone 🐰 according to me personally, for things like hair color, the tone does make a difference but when it comes to clothes, no matter what i wear…yup i don’t think color matters much, i think everything looks good on me 🐰 then within that, there might be a color that suits me the best and maybe a color that’s a bit disappointing

Medalist S2 [Episode 5 part 3/3] They have improved SO MUCH since season 1. Not just the animation, but the CGI rendering is so much cleaner. It barely even looks like CGI. They baked it in so well.

Some drawing hack i often use ✒️ It's usually hard to make the hand veins blend with the skin, so what i do, rather than use blue color, just draw using your hand color pallete > lower the saturation & brightness > adjust opacity 😊

I love this. It's simple, players know their routines and know what a weakness looks like in the opposition structure. Jover has simplified the set piece and reduced the time needed to organise set plays on the training ground without losing quality.
