@julianweisser how does the config of friend compare to open claw. for example do you have the equivalent of soul md , user md memory md files or does it take a different approach. hows does it handle persistent memory?

@julianweisser Tbh I have never used open claw so I’m not familiar with how they work, but we have a custom memory system as part of the agent you talk to’s system. It’s all based on top of Google Gemini models

This video was profoundly disturbing to watch. Not because I think less of her, but because I think Friend is a sweet poison that is going to make her life much, much worse.

All three of these interviews seem to show very lonely and depressed people. If I saw someone in public wearing one of these my inclination would be to interact with them in hopes one day they would throw it away.

@AviSchiffmann If you’re askin in good faith, yeah man. Im from this kinda place in America and I’ve met a hundred of her. At first I thought it was a really odd subject for an ad as well but I think we’re moving into a new era where it’s like “yeah, no bright future, here’s a thing to talk to”

@AviSchiffmann I have no trouble believing she's a real person, the whole dramatic seizure off screen thing just made it read as a made up scenario with a very strange choice of 'character'. This makes this ad 1000x worse, straight up exploitation of a neurodivergent disabled woman.
