Using a physical analog to show why variations in fluid density along a pressure surface create vorticity. Referred to as "baroclinicity", the process played an outsized role in providing spin for a tornadic supercell along an outflow boundary near Lubbock TX earlier today.

Dude, your explainers and visualizations are top-tier. Love these so much.

Thank you!!

Dude these are so good please keep making them

No plans to stop!

The GOAT with another beautiful demonstration 👍

Literally made a video a week ago talking about the research of baroclinicity and it's research during Goshen County Supercell (2009), great to see a visual of it too 😃👍🏾

the simplicity of these is unmatched. Love it

This is F awesome!

Wow, I never thought of it that way. Excellent demonstration.

Very nice description. I believe that you can get close to 0.01 s^-1 ingesting into a storm like this one or the one that hammered MAF in 5/30/24. But is it spelled baroclinicity or baroclinity?

Either spelling is accepted. I prefer baroclinicity because it is consistent with other English words (like how we say an electric process involves electricity, not electrity)

Wow, solo wow. Spiegami la vita Sam ti prego.
