Bill Cassidy, a doctor, disputes any linkage. “I'm going to go where the evidence takes me,” he says, explaining, “The best evidence is that there is no relationship” between Tylenol and autism. “By the way, if you have a high fever during pregnancy, that may be a risk for autism,” Cassidy adds. (Acetaminophen is commonly used to curb high fevers during pregnancy.)
