Working on a procedural damage modifier in geometry-nodes. Trying to avoid the use of mesh-boolean cause still too slow IMHO. Full flexibility, plus I'll add control via weight-paint. Might then post it on Gumroad if people show enough interest. #b3d #geometrynodes

Particle explosions 🎇, volumetric illumination using pre-rendered lightmaps and multiple lights (point, directional). I strongly prefer Unity's default particle system over VFX Graph for these kinds of effects. The latter is overkill, cumbersome to work with, and really only necessary in instances where you're working with data directly from the GPU (and/or extremely high particle counts). #unity3d #gamedev

I was today years old when I learned to use Sub-Emitters did this with a Rigidbody for 15 years 🤦🏻‍♂️ The term "Birth" confused me, I thought it did ONE particle for each of the parent's particles (useless) But it's an EMITTER that FOLLOWS the parent particle, exactly what u want

An interesting issue with Tesla Robotaxi where it took us to a Starbucks, but the Google data had the incorrect location. At drop off we were 0.2 miles from the Starbucks, so we had a short walk. Is there a way the Tesla AI team could add functionality in the app so riders can update map info to correct errors or inaccuracies on the underlying map data and then this propagates to the fleet? Being able to do this with a pin drop on the map instead of having to use an address might make this very easy and user friendly! Or, as a bigger ask, would it be possible for the car to be able to use visual images on its own to look for a Starbucks sign and on the fly, get us closer and update the map data on its own?

This is called the 3 Seconds Pull-Up Bar. It stores away and then folds up for use using a gas spring, and according to the company, has a supposed 500kg (1,100lb) weight capacity. Pretty genius if you need something to get out of the way when not in use.
