We will present the same info at both meetings, we hope you’ll attend one of them & learn more about the study. 📍In-person open house: Nov. 13 from 6-8 p.m. at Butler Elementary School 💻Virtual meeting: Nov. 14 from 6-7 p.m. on Zoom (we’ll record & put it on the website)

A public comment period begins Nov. 13 and will be open until Dec. 13, 2024. If you visit Big Cottonwood Canyon in the winter, visit the website for more information on the study and what we’re proposing to improve SR-190 transportation: 🔗

@UtahDOT @CHCity @BrightonUT Just like Little Cottonwood there is no perfect solution. The best solution is to build 3 total lanes of travel, use 2 up from 1am to noon then 2 down from 1pm to midnight. The 2nd lane of travel can be used by buses/toll/carpool just like I-15 does now, use the same toll devices

@UtahDOT @CHCity @BrightonUT Well that escalated quickly. They've gone from a sticker program to possible tolling. Give the government an inch they take 10 yards.

@UncleMaui1983 @UtahDOT @CHCity @BrightonUT How many years are we going to “study” this?

@UtahDOT @CHCity @BrightonUT Here comes another gondola

@UtahDOT @CHCity @BrightonUT The fact that you guys (UTA, UPD, UDOT, etc) got behind cutting bus service in the cottonwoods and then "ask" the public before you ram through whatever big money project you've already decided on is getting old. Invest in parking and buses, and add tolls that promote carpooling!

@UtahDOT @CHCity @BrightonUT Tolling during peak time and for single occupancy, increased bus frequency and tire checks would be a sick start

@UtahDOT @CHCity @BrightonUT Double der…
