I’m trying to re-texture my avatar in #EmoteLab it’s very cute! > Texture Cache > CoffeeBean > Custom Textures - Go back to EmoteLab and click Reload Textures. Method 2: Easier Way to Edit Textures Directly - Go to Settings → Open Character Folder. - Find the version you are using, then open your character folder. - Click Regions. - You will find the textures used by the character there. You can edit these textures directly as well. 💡Tip: I recommend editing the WeightTransfer folder first, then Click Unload Current Model and Load the model again to refresh the textures. Finally, You will get your own EmoteLab texture!!

"Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey" map of Greece on a single 32,768 x 32,768 texture in the Browser. Virtual Texture tech in WebGL 2.0 The source is a 804 Mb PNG. Without Virtual Texture tech you'd need to download that and wait for a few seconds for your browser to decode it before you could use it. Your browser would then crash when it tries to upload it to the GPU :) If we imagine that the upload to the GPU would succeed - it would take 4Gb of VRAM. Virtual Texture loads immediately, because the image is split into small fixed-sized tiles with full LoD chain (mips) and uses 2048x2048, which is just 16 Mb of VRAM. Article:

The texture is 16,384 x 16,384 pixels, which is 180 Mb of PNG data. Loading this in Blender would crash Blender for me back then. The GPU memory requirement for this texture is 1 Gb. The VT displays the model after loading just 34 Kb (one tile). The other tiles are fetched in via a smart priority queue in the background as you move camera around the scene. The physical page texture is 2k, which is 16 times smaller than the source. The solution supports multiple separate virtual textures, and has GLTF integration. Texture filtering as well as anisotropy are fully supported as well. The delay comes from the geometry download, actual texture part is near-instant.

I took a quick look at #CrimsonDesert Patch 1.04.02 and there’s a clear improvement to texture quality on distant objects. This is visible across all Texture Quality settings, especially the higher ones. However, this improvement isn’t free, VRAM usage is noticeably higher particularly at higher texture settings. The patch also brings a slight uplift in distant Level of Detail, but it mostly affects far-away objects and doesn’t fix or reduce the game’s aggressive pop-in closer to the camera.

You can ask Gemini a question by tapping the launcher icon or long-pressing the power button. Once invoked, the Gemini overlay lets you enter a text or text+image prompt. You can tap the camera icon to snap a photo or press the "add this screen" button to take a screenshot of the current page to include in your prompt. The Gemini app for Android is available on Google Play with support for English, but support for Korean and Japanese will be coming next week. While there won't be an app for iOS, iPhone users can access Gemini by opening the Google App and tapping the "Gemini" button up top. How can you long-press the power button to invoke Gemini if that gesture is handled by Google Assistant? The answer is that the Gemini Android app can replace Google Assistant as your default assistant if you want, meaning all the ways you'd normally invoke Google Assistant on your phone can instead invoke Gemini. Unfortunately, Gemini currently doesn't offer ALL the same functionality as Google Assistant and requires an active data connection, but more features will be added over time. There's also now a Gemini Advanced tier, which offers access to Google's most powerful Ultra 1.0 LLM.
