Why don't Google just integrate Gemini within Google Assistant. TBVH, I just get bogged down by the no. of products doing the same thing vying for the same space. I don't need GenAI all the times but plain old trusted Google Assistant features. Sometimes, I need GenAI more.

That was fast: Google pushed an update to Gemini for Android last night that enabled auto sending queries when you invoke it via a swipe up gesture or long press of the power button. Previously queries only auto sent if you invoked Gemini via "Hey Google." Hopefully continued conversation is added next!

Write your instructions 3. Type "/[skill-name]" And Gemini will automatically work for you by using the skill.
