There’s a beautiful Sanskrit verse (Subhashitam) that highlights a very critical aspect of relationships: अति परिचयात अवज्ञा सतत गमनात अनादरः भवति ! मलये भिल्ली पुरन्ध्री चन्दन तरुकाष्ठ इन्धनम् कुरुते ! ati paricayaat avagyaa satat gamanaat anaadaro bhavati malaye bhilla purandari chandanam taru kaashtha indhanam kurute Translation: Too much familiarity with someone could lead to contempt/neglect, and very close association could lead to disrespect. A lady living in the Malay Mountains, which has abundant, costly sandalwood trees, uses that sandalwood as fuel in her stove. Because of being surrounded by those trees all the time, she takes them for granted. The closer a relationship, the more time we spend with someone, the more the chances are that we take it for granted and even start seeing faults in the other person. Let’s learn to ignore the trivial things that slowly add up and create sourness and, at times, distance in our relationships. And when things are not trivial enough to ignore, let’s learn to deal with them appropriately rather than being consumed by them. Please remember that both sides need to practice this principle to make it sustainable. #seeinggood #ignorethetrivial #RelationshipAdvice #relationshipgoals #relationships #thursdaymorning #ThursdayMotivation #ThursdayThought #EnergizeYourMind #lifesamazingsecrets #thewayofthemonk #monkify #monkifyapp #monkifyyourlife #gaurgopaldas #GaurGopalDas

Have you ever avoided having an open conversation with someone at work or someone close to you in your personal life? Maybe you did it to avoid hurting them, or because you were afraid of losing the relationship, or simply because you lacked the courage to address the issue. Whatever the reason might be, we often tend to shy away from discussing difficult topics with others, and it can have serious consequences. In the short term, it may seem like we have successfully avoided a confrontation, but in the long term, the relationship is bound to suffer. And if we’re on the receiving end of a toxic relationship, it’s even more important to communicate openly and honestly. As a monk who has been living in an ashram with over 50 other monks for years, I learned the importance of not avoiding healthy and open conversations about issues affecting our relationships. Although we practice spiritual principles in our ashram, we are still human beings with our own individual differences. And I believe that true spirituality means facing our issues with wisdom, empathy, and sensitivity rather than escaping them. So, let’s not compromise healthy communication for the sake of temporary peace. Instead, let’s have sensitive, open dialogues at the right time and save our most valuable relationships. #RelationshipAdvice #RelationshipTips #relationshipgoals #communication #SpeakUp #Sensitive #empathy #PeopleFirst #HOME #FamilyFirst #WednesdayMotivation #wednesdaythought #EnergizeYourMind #lifesamazingsecrets #thewayofthemonk #monkify #monkifyapp #monkifyyourlife #gaurgopaldas #GaurGopalDas

This chick is doing her best to explain an important phenomenon to men. Unfortunately she is using 2020s chick-speak about ‘boundaries’ and ‘respecting yourself’ and other such buzzwords, which make the message nigh incomprehensible. So here is how I would put it to you, as a man: ➡️ No girl wants to be with a dude who is going to make pleasing her his life mission. The behavior screams ‘simp’ and makes her feel like you are beneath her, which makes her not want you. No chick wants to be with a man who is beneath her. ➡️ No girl wants to be with a dude who will let her run all over him in conversation, talking about things that he doesn’t want to hear about, controlling the flow of the conversation. That screams ‘weak dude’, who is either afraid to take control or does not know how. What should you do instead? ✅ If you are hooking up with a girl and she says, “I’m not looking for a relationship right now,” you say, “AWESOME. ME TOO.” And now all of a sudden she is confused and beguiled because you are not chasing her for the relationship. Why aren’t you chasing her for the relationship? Do you not WANT her? It will drive her crazy, she will start thinking about it over and over again, and she will desperately work to try to get you to want the relationship with her. If you keep just banging her while acting like you don’t care, eventually she will want the relationship with you so bad herself it will drive her crazy. ✅ If you are talking to a girl and she is talking about some other dude she was dating, then unless you are actually curious about that (and if she is a girl you are sleeping with, it is worth getting to know some about her prior relationships… you will learn her behavior patterns, why she broke up with exes, plus any obvious red flags that can let you hit the eject button before you get in too deep), all you have to say to get off that topic is, “Yeah, that’s cool and all,” and act really bored and start looking around. (If she can’t take a hint then you just tell her, “Don’t you have a girlfriend or someone you can tell this to?”) The basic frame is “I’M JUST HERE TO BANG YOU AND HAVE FUN.” It doesn’t matter if you secretly want marriage with her and 15 babies. You want to let HER chase the relationship and fall into YOUR frame. If she starts going off on conversation you don’t want to hear about, act bored or change the topic. If she starts trying to say she doesn’t want a relationship, get out ahead of that frame and own it yourself (“Me neither, we’re in accord”). Women want your attention. Women who are sleeping with you IN PARTICULAR want it. If she feels she is losing your attention, that your interest in or commitment to her is waning, it will cause her to go nuts trying to get it back. And, in so doing, she becomes more invested, and falls in love. The peculiar ways of women!

Why is it that some people grow more spiritually than others? I think the answer is simple: they’re intentional about it. Spiritual growth doesn’t happen by accident. It takes deliberate effort and consistent choices to draw closer to God. Now that 2025 is officially here, let’s skip the usual New Year’s resolutions that are quickly forgotten and make a New Year commitment to Christ instead. Let’s decide to grow in our faith and live out the Christian life the way it’s meant to be lived. Here are a few ways to start: • Be intentional about prayer: Set aside time every day to talk to God. Prayer is where the power is, and it’s how we stay connected to Him. • Stay rooted in God’s Word: Open your Bible daily. It’s God’s love letter to you, filled with wisdom, guidance, and encouragement. • Plug into Church: Don’t go it alone. Join a small group or find a church where you can be supported and challenged in your walk with Jesus. Needless to say, we would love to have you at our Church, Harvest! • Serve others: Jesus came to serve, and He calls us to do the same. Look for opportunities to show His love in practical ways. So, let’s make 2025 the year we go deeper in our faith. Let’s be intentional about growing spiritually. Let it start with you, and let it start with me. Together, we can make this a year of spiritual renewal and see God do amazing things in and through our lives. I will be talking about that more this weekend as we start our new series in the book of Nehemiah that we are calling, “From Rubble To Revival”.

Flag Flying: Freedom Liberty Privacy Democracy the principles & values of The Enlightenment are central to the the embodiment of Union & St George's Flag It is inspiring that people have been flying them across the nation; many have first hand experience of being ignored & smeared yet they are determined to uphold unity within our Sovereign nation Grandmothers Mums Daughters; Women in Pink & everyday ordinary people across Britain 'Some' flags are seen as fine & 'diverse' while British Flag wavers are being called 'Far Right' & worse I spoke to Jeremy Vine | Here, on Tiktok, Insta & Facebook & Femi made my point when using an analogy that 'doctors are fine' fo fly flags 'but not criminals'. What criminals exactly? Ordinary British Citizens are doing this He also has tirade about Lucy Connolly; yet nobody wants to talk about Nick Lowels HNH. The Public is furious about 110,000 asylum boat arrivals & hotels being used: Labour knows this with Red Wall & all are discussing saying needs addressing. Yet he tries hard to narrow this into individuals. For far too long raising these issues & concerns has been funnelled into being 'racist' - yet the British are decent caring considerate but are hugely concerned with what is happening with crime, values & local communities and fed up with Two Tier treatment while being tarred, as Emily Thornberry did in 2014 as being 'dodgy'. Now it is a national debate & smears are not going to work. It is vital to have these discussions so am happy BBC Radio 2 had this. But it needs proper time to thrash out clearly the issues. Let's have more Have a listen & you decide what you think

love how woonhak was telling riwoo about tansansu while literally walking in circles like he really cannot believe tansansu said “I love you” to him 😭 im crying the 3x speed storytelling is so funny ngl 🧸: i just suddenly missed her, so i called and said i wanted to see her. then she was like, “why are you like that oppa” and i was like, “wow, how can you talk to me like that?” so i asked, “what are you doing? isn’t it children’s day the day after tomorrow? what are you up to?” and then she told me “oppa, you know that im off tomorrow and the day after” so i said “really? then what are you doing tomorrow?” and suddenly she goes "im going to the sea in incheon” 🧸i asked what she was going there for and who she was going with, and she said no one else just her and one friend. she has this really close best friend. so my younger sibling is going on a little outing not really a trip, more like a day trip to incheon with that friend, just the two of them. and as his older brother, of course i was worried. like, how are the two of them going to manage that? she's only in second year of middle school. But she said, “oppa, you used to take the subway around by yourself too, right? i can do it.” so i was like… okay. i tried to act cool and just sent her 100,000 won. i even told her, “take a taxi when you go, and take a taxi back.” yeah… that’s the kind of person i am, i guess. anyway, i sent it. 🧸 then suddenly, she told me she loves me. when she try to say “i love you,” she usually hesitate a lot and end up not saying it. but right after i sent the money, she suddenly went, “oppa, i love you.” like does that even make sense? 🧸 but still, hearing it made me really happy. i felt so good, so i just told her, “have fun.” then yesterday, maybe she was really touched by the allowance or something my younger sibling suddenly called me on facetime. she never does that, you know. 🧸 but i couldn’t answer because i was busy with my schedule. then she sent me a video of the sea and texted, “oppa, what are you doing?” that kind of thing never happens, so it made me really happy. anyway, yeah… just a small little episode.

stefan van de graaff, director of “one of us,” on casting kit connor in the lead role: “that's actually really kind of incredible story. so we knew that we wanted to cast around the lead actor, which, in this case, is kit. he plays a character named youngest. we wanted to cast around it first. […] we went to independent, which is the talent agency that kit is repped by in the uk, and originally, we had approached other actors. i had kit on my shortlist as people that i wanted in the film, but when i reviewed his work, i thought he might just be a little bit too young for the role. so we actually went and approached a few other actors first, and we had one booked, but he got really sick and—literally two weeks before we were filming—so we went back to independent and they said, ‘who else are you looking at? is there anybody else that we can put on?’ and i had, again, reviewed kit's work in the past, and i said, ‘talk to me about kit. i love him. i think he's a brilliant actor. i think he has just the right look. i think he's a little young.’ and his agent was just really effusive about saying he's the most mature person you'll ever meet. he carries himself as an adult. yes, he's, you know, i think he was 19 at the time. but that will not come through in his effort and his, you know, his capability. and so i had a phone call with kit, and it was very clear that he punched well above his weight in terms of his age. he's wise beyond his years and was extremely talented and thorough, and so, cast him, and that has ended up being a really, really incredible sequence of events because i absolutely loved working with him, and i don't think the film is the film without him. so it's been very fortunate.” 🔗:

Céline Sciamma on why she made "Portrait of a Lady on Fire" (2019) & on Leonardo Di Caprio being a Lesbian icon: "Sciamma: What I had in mind above all was to make a film about love, with a totally invented story. And when I thought about it, I found that there were few films totally devoted to love, even though they are often the greatest in the history of cinema. It's rare, even though it's the beating heart of our cinephiles. Interviewer: What movies were you thinking of? Sciamma: 'Titanic' (1997), for example. It's a real influence, which I recently revisited. Both films are about the memories of a love affair, almost behind closed doors. I spent a long time looking for a framework and then one day I looked at the script and I thought: "F**k, it's Titanic! It's simply Titanic." There's the prologue, of course, before the flashback, but also the drawing scene, which is very explicit in my film. With this dialogue: "Don't laugh, be serious…" Interviewer Is it an important film for you? Sciamma: Collectively, it's important. There are different film regimes that count in our cinephilia: those we love and those that are part of a collective phenomenon. It's rare to experience those moments, especially when it's about 'Titanic' and not 'Qu’est-ce qu’on a fait au bon Dieu?' (2014). Titanic was a cultural moment, and in my life as a cinephile, it's probably the most important one, even more so because of the shared love. And with a real queer dynamic! Leo DiCaprio is a lesbian icon. A very new masculinity at the time, in cinema - with time it deepens enormously, it's exciting to watch. At the time, in that youth and in that body, there was really something hyper queer. And then the love scene is a total inversion of the conventions: she's on top of him, she reassures him, he’s the one who’s breathless... All that in the back seat of a car, like in any good teen movie. There were great subversive effects in 'Titanic', and that's something James Cameron always did anyway. What it also has in common with my film is the idea that the greatest loves are emancipatory and that the loss of them is the price of our future fulfillment. At the end of 'Titanic', there are three photos of a girl in pants riding a horse! It’s one of the few films that asserts that love can bring positive things, even when it's over. In my opinion, this is one of the hidden reasons for the incredible success of the film." ("CÉLINE SCIAMMA : DiCaprio est une icône lesbienne.", Axel Cadieux, Sofilm, 2020) P.S: On this day, 7 years ago, "Portrait of a Lady on Fire" (2019) premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, France.

Jada Pinkett Smith talks about her relationship with Will Smith. She says their relationship started with challenges because Will was going through a divorce at the time, and that they’ve never had an open marriage despite what people think. She reveals there were several breakups between them, including one around her 40th birthday, and that they had a major separation in 2016 but the public didn’t know. She also says she played a part in allowing herself to be portrayed as an adulterer, even though she and Will had already broken up. She adds that being labeled as someone who cheated on him was devastating. “Our relationship started with some challenges because he was divorcing. We haven’t had an open marriage I talked about starting off pretty much early on of our marriage having the need for transparency, and that is a big difference between ‘hey you can do whatever you want’ versus like ‘hey here we are’ very young people in this place called hollywood that has alot of temptation, let’s have a partnership around this, let’s be very realistic of what this life is. If we’re talking about we’re going to be together forever, that means there’s going to be some temptations that come up. Let’s be in partnership and let’s talk about that” “There have been several break ups between Will and I, my 40th birthday which was a big break up for us we were actually looking towards separating and divorcing and the world didn’t know, then we had a reconciliation, and then 2016 came we had the ultimate break but the world didn’t know that where the misconception about open marriage came to play because we were living lives as single people and the world didn’t know. Even with that entanglement piece how i played a part of allowing myself to be portrayed as an adulteress, and that wasn’t the case, we broke up in 2016, he went on to live a life as a single man, i went on to live as a single woman. And then when we had the talk at the red table, i was gonna l go to the red table by myself to talk about the entanglement, Will decided he wanna come with me, and we were going to tell the world we haven’t been together. When we got to the table Will wasn’t ready. And to be labeled as someone who had cheated on him was devastating”

Ohio Sheriff Richard K. Jones Warning The Amercian People After Meeting With Director Of The FBI Christopher Wray, Sheriff Says The Illegal Immigrants Entering America Will Do Us Harm “It’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when” “China has safe houses in every state in the United States” “They’re bringing something here to cause us harm. You have to believe that. China has safe houses in every state in the United States. My name is Rick Jones. I'm the Butler County Sheriff, Butler County, Ohio. I just came back from the National Sheriff's Training in D.C. three days ago, two days ago. We were briefed by the FBI director Ray, the director of the FBI, and several federal agencies. There's 3,300 sheriffs in the United States. The President of the United States refuses to meet with the sheriffs of the 3,300. We have a hierarchy. We have a president. We have a vice president. The President of the United States refuses to meet with the sheriffs. He also refuses to meet with the police chiefs of the United States. They have a hierarchy also. He refuses to meet with them to talk about border issues or talk about crime that's going on because of the border issue. We were also told by Mr. Ray, the FBI director, that there are more red flags going off now than before 9-11. Okay? When I say red flags, meaning people that are here in this country that are wanting to do harm to us. We were also explained we're bombing two countries right now. Two countries. These people do not like us before this started. There's thousands of people here from other countries, 160 different countries. They're here not to be our friends. Some of them are coming because they're wanting to come here to the best country in the world, the way we see it. Some are coming here to do harm to us. And we were told by the FBI director, it's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when. We were also told five sheriffs went to Israel five weeks after the attack. The only thing that saved the Israelis, their government was the local police. They were outgunned, outmanned. They came over. The Palestinians did. They came over. They killed, raped. The sheriffs were there. They talked to the police. The local police are what saved that country. You can't just call, even in Israel, you can't just call the military up, and they're going to be there, okay? They went house to house, raping, killing. The Israeli police. When our guys got there, the sheriffs said, they just don't hate us. They hate you guys equally. And the same people that train them are the same people that train people to hate us. The FBI director said when 9-11 hit, there's more red flags now than then. So, and he said, these are people that want to kill us and do harm to us. Now, so you're wondering, I want everybody to know what I know. I can't tell you everything, but I want the public to know that we are in a terrible way right now. The United States, and I'm going to get to the local. The United States, we're on the defense. You can't be just defense and not have an offense. We have no offense. We're just defense. We're absorbing these attacks. We're in other countries. We're supplying them with weapons. We're supplying them with our treasure, our money. And we're not doing much back home. So. With that in mind, we were also told that they're going, this is from the federal government, three days ago. They're going to attack our elections” I can’t transcribe this all due to X’s text limits but I highly recommend listening to this whole thing.

Sunny Hostin gets triggered because Vice President J.D. Vance made a joke about The View being hostile to him and holds an inquisition against Joy Behar, accusing her of literally being his best friend: VP J.D. VANCE: I have seen some progressive criticisms of me personally saying, 'what experience does the vice president of the United States have with hostile, high-stakes negotiations?' And I would point those progressive critics to the fact that just two days ago I spent over an hour on The View. So actually, I have great experience in very hostile negotiations. And I've used that - Look, Joy Behar is way tougher than the Iranians, and he and I are best friends now. [Cuts back to live] [Laughter and applause] SUNNY HOSTIN: What?! What?! ALYSSA FARAH GRIFFIN: Our very own Joy. HOSTIN: We were more difficult to deal with than the Iranian government?! JOY BEHAR: He's being funny I think. ANA NAVARRO: Can I tell you something? I wish Joy had negotiated this Iran deal. It would have been better. BEHHAR: Exactly. HOSTIN: It would have been better. BEHAR: First of all, I'd make them a nice meal. My lasagna. We'd sit down and talk. It's like with J.D., he was here the other day. I respect the office. You know, I believe in reaching across the aisle. I do. This is why MAGA Republicans, they are coming around. SUNNY HOSTIN: No, they are not! FARAH GRIFFIN: Some are. BEHAR: A lot of them are. A lot of them are. The Republicans themselves in Congress. HOSTIN: I think Republican are. Because if you look at it now, less - in country, less people identify as Republicans than ever before. So, I think there has been a shift. But, I want to know, why were you so in love with J.D. Vance? BEHAR: I wasn't in love. Look, I'm not in love with him and I'm not in love with this administration. SARA HAINES: And he is not her best friend! BEHAR: You are watching me on this show. HOSTIN: He just called you his best friend! HAINES: That is not mutual! ALYSSA FARAH GRIFFIN: She went on like a three-minute viral rant yesterday about this administration, and everyone is like 'how does she love them,' and then you're criticizing them saying to throw them out.

🎙️: Khun Arnold… 🐻: Kap ☺️ *the way he just get ready right away lol* 🎙️: … the same question as before. How is it with the character? How do you feel watching it? The viewers are so invested for you... 🐻: Umm, I think people on X are quite biased because I feel like in the beginning, when Arnold didn't do anything wrong, he got criticized right from the start. Like... "He's clueless, he doesn't get it, he can't read the room," things like that… like maybe they are Tua’s "Mae" 🐧: 😆🫠 *start fidgeting :)))* 🎙️: They said you were leading him on… 🐻: Right. Not saying "I love you" but keeping him on the hook, something like that… which lately around EP 5-6, there are finally some "mommies" for Arnold too, who point things out and give support 😆☺️ 🐻: From my perspective, I feel like with this story... I got to play a lively and fun character. And in terms of acting, I'm happy that people are praising it, including when they criticize us like they aren't swearing at us, no one is swearing… 🐻: They are just really immersed in the character and feel annoyed with us. Like, "Oh, he's gonna be a bo..." What do they call it? Bo?!! 🌼: Bo, bo... a clueless dog * Thai slang for a Golden Retriever* 🐻: Yeah... like they want to shake Arnold and tell him to go clear up his relationship with Tua, something like that. It's fun. It's cute that everyone actually breaking down the character... I really like this. When I go in and read it, it feels like they are trying to analyze why the character acts a certain way… 🐻: There are many scenes that don't fully explain the true identity of that character which as an actor, is quite hard. Because we discuss it with the director a lot why he does this and that… but they are "shadow scenes" so everyone might not get to see the wider picture. 🐻: But I'm also glad that for many scenes, people came out and said that we acted naturally. Personally, I feel like this is a project where I'm a lot more comfortable and relaxed. At first, I was a little tense because it had to be a kid who uses his body a lot, dances a lot, things like that. 🐻: So I'm glad that people like it, including the other characters that they talk and debate about on social media ☺️ #OnlyFriendsDreamOn #JossGawin
