Human instinct tells you to run away from fire. Bone-deep love does the exact opposite. 4:00 a.m. The house is roaring in Aberdeen, Washington. Derrick Byrd, just 20 years old, is already badly burned on the front lawn. He has just caught his baby niece and nephew dropping from the second story into his bare arms. Then he looks up. Eight-year-old Mercedes is still at the ledge. Paralyzed by pure terror. Before she can jump, the smoke swallows the room. She falls backward into the darkness, and through the roaring wall of heat, Derrick hears one sound that stops his heart: She is screaming his name. He doesn’t wait for sirens. He doesn’t look for gear. He sprints straight through the front door and charges up the burning staircase. Skin blistering. Flesh melting against the heat. Lungs searing on toxic black air. He doesn't slow down. He breaches the wall of flames on the second floor, grabs Mercedes, and rips off his own shirt to wrap around her face so the poison smoke won't touch her lungs. He shields her body with his own flesh and carries her into the street seconds before the entire roof caves in. He wakes up in a hospital bed—bandaged from head to toe, covered in severe second, third, and fourth-degree burns, battling catastrophic nerve damage. When they asked him why he did it, this 20-year-old didn't hesitate: “I’d run back in there and do it again. Even if I got burnt worse or died. I’d rather it be me than her. She’s young. She’s got a whole life ahead of her.” True courage isn't the absence of pain—it’s deciding that someone else’s life is worth every single scar.

this AI-generated ad promoting an 'AI ads' course made a FORTUNE... here’s why the ad caught the viewers attention and made them buy instantly: it kicks off with a girl jumping up in bed, hair everywhere, screaming at the top of her lungs: “AI ADS!!!” – instant scroll-stopper then it hard-cuts to a dude mid-meltdown: “why the hell does this look like trash?!” the setup is painfully relatable: → burned cash on 10 random subscriptions, broke before breakfast → facebook ads tanking, nicotine cloud filling the room → client threatening: 8 hours left or the contract’s gone → rent due tomorrow, account balance basically zero → girlfriend with her bags at the door → mom just heard from her that he’s a “hopeless failure” anyone that's grinding in marketing can relate to this but then the vibe flips... he’s on the toilet, doom-scrolling tiktok with that brainrot 'tralarelo tralala' audio loop in the background… suddenly: “wait… a $47 ai ads course? done.” his whole world shifts in an instant: - from a tiny apartment to a villa with luxury cars lined up - palm trees, champagne spraying - a freaking lion lounging by the pool and then he hits the viewer with a CTA: “this hook is more addictive than gambling ads. you’re not watching hollywood - this was made in 2 hours with ai, for under $10. the same course shows you how.” he rides the lion straight at the camera: “you keep making weak ads and you’re still watching this… i guess it works.” next scene? him on a rainbow-colored dragon yelling at people to click it hits because it mirrors the lowest point (broke, desperate, no way out) and then delivers an instant, ridiculous transformation it takes the viewer through peak vulnerability to proof the impossible can happen and then hits them with a low-ticket course and then there's the meta-layer: the ad IS the product, you're demonstrating it directly in the ad Like, RT + Reply "VEO" and I'll send you more viral veo3 ads that are printing rn so you can copy them for your product (must follow so i can dm) example of viral veo ad below

Carlos Estévez on why Shohei Ohtani is an Android built on discipline and raw talent; (Written and translated by Master Flip) He’s a robot. Straight up, that guy’s a robot. He’s in a league of his own. His routine, the way he prepares from the moment he steps on the field, the discipline it takes to be ready for a 2 p.m. first pitch, it’s not easy. But that discipline is incredible. And it’s where the whole talent vs. hard work debate gets real. I’m a firm believer in hard work. I’m the kind of guy who was made through grind, I don’t have natural gifts like that. I’ve always said hard work beats talent when talent slacks off. But Ohtani? He’s the rare combination of both. That’s how you end up with an Android. As a hitter, he barely needs BP on the field. He heads straight to the cage, does a drill going the other way, and that’s it. Hitting is hard, everyone knows it, but this guy does minimal tuning and still turns into a beast at the plate. Pitching, though? That’s where he puts in the real work. He comes out, throws weighted balls, drills his mechanics, grinds on every detail. Maybe it’s because pitching is the side where he’s humanely made, but he’s naturally a hitter, that’s the way I see it. Either way, his ability is unreal. One time, he made an out against Michael King’s sinker and immediately asked, “What was that? A sinker? How do you grip it?” The very next day in the bullpen, he’s out there throwing sinkers. The day before he pitches, he’ll throw maybe 10–15 pitches in the pen. Then, three pitches into his start the next day, boom, a sinker! I’m sitting there thinking, How?! I’ve spent a thousand years trying to perfect a nasty slider, and he just picks up something new and drops it in game like it’s nothing. The lifestyle that level of player lives is tough. Guys like Trout are the same way, they have to stay low key because everyone knows them. At the ’23 All-Star Game, I flew with Ohtani, hung out with him the whole time until we got to the hotel. Once we arrived, it was straight to the back entrance for him, different access. I just said, goodbye Charlie, I’ll see you later, and went off with the regular mortals. But we bonded over the little things. I play video games, watch anime and read manga, he does too. That’s how we became close. This year at the All Star Game, he was repping the NL and I was on the AL side. He waited for me. My oldest daughter yelled “Ohtani!” and he recognized her right away, so he held up just to talk to me. That’s who he is, he’s a superstar among superstars. All the other MLB stars want pics with him. He’s the only one on that level. I’m not exaggerating. There’s that famous video from the ’23 All Star Game where he was about to take a selfie and the phone almost dropped. It was with me, he was coming over to snap a pic, but I yanked him out of the swarm. Everyone was crowding him with, “Let’s take a pic! Let’s take a pic!” I yelled, “Ohtani, let’s take a pic!” and he ran straight to me. He took the selfie, the phone nearly slipped, that’s the clip that went viral. When we got inside, he looked at me and said, “Thank you.” He noticed right away. He’s not gonna call anyone out or act rude, he just handles it with class.” 🎥 Abriendo Sports

What would you have done if you were in her shoes?👀🤔 “Imagine your phone went bad and to fix your phone is over 450k and then you told the person you were dating because your phone is your only source of income and he was like he does not have any money at the moment that he will give you the money next two weeks and you told him that you cannot be without your phone for two weeks that even if he has half of the money he can give you so you can be able to rally round and get the money because you have a lot of pending deals to deliver on the phone, and he insisted he doesn’t have anything to give you not even 10k. So you were able to rally round and repair your phone then during this period your partner who’s suppose to get married to you travelled to Abuja for a work then after you were able to fix your phone he came back and call you that you should come over then when you get his place, you noticed that he came back with two suitcase and because he travelled with only one. When you opened the new suitcase because he was trying to sort out the things that he bought and you’re seeing designer things and you’re just hailing him that the things he bought are looking fine o and he casually said that the purse you’re holding his 1.5million so when you did your calculations you noticed that the things he bought was more than 7million naira, and this was the same person you asked for 450k or even half of the money so that you can get your phone repaired and he said he doesn’t have any money. You got offended but you locked up then after like two days you asked him about the money that you borrowed money and you need to pay the people back and he started with his normal tales that he has no money and you said that okay no problem then you went back to your house. During the weekend normally you go to your babes house so when you got to his place he told you there was no soup or stew that you need to cook so you gave him a list and there is a drawer beside you then you opened it,you saw bundle of cash in the drawer and with a rough estimate you were about to count his up to 400k and when you told him about the amount for the food he didn’t even price it, he just gave you the money. After cooking for him th en you reminded him about the money you used to repair your phone that even if it is 190k but he told her to hold on that he will give you next week. The next week you called your partner again and he said you should wait till Friday. On Wednesday evening, he called you that his friend is hosting a party and he wants you to go with him and sent you 75 k to get something to wear. At the party your partner was spraying money and getting hyped. He then gave you one bundle that you should spray the celebrant which you did,in your head he was going to give you the money to pay people that you’re owing. The final scene in The Godfather Part II, with the family gathered around the dinner table, was originally going to include Marlon Brando, but he pulled out at the very last minute. Coppola had to rewrite a whole new ending the night before the shoot. He explains: “It’s a very interesting story, because I had written this scene that we go back to, around the period just before the first Godfather, when they were all young… My idea was that they would come together, finally, at the end, as a family. And the end of the movie would be a big, beautiful scene with Marlon Brando and Al Pacino, sort of summing up the whole saga that had gone down. And I was negotiating with Marlon Brando right up to the last minute saying, “Marlon, please, just one day. We’ll give you this money.” But Marlon was so mad at Paramount - for ultimately not paying him any money on the first picture, or whatever he was mad about - And although I didn’t know it until the last day, ultimately, it wasn’t going to be possible to have him in the picture. So I went to bed that night really worried. I had lost the end of my movie. I had to shoot it the next day. I had no idea what to do. I was sleeping in the Chateau Marmont Hotel. I had this scene. I had paid all this money to get Jimmy Caan to come back and some of the other actors to be in the last scene. And in the middle of the night, I just had this idea. And I wrote it - which is that they were all gathered for a surprise birthday party for the Don. And so after this scene plays out, in which Michael’s decision to join the Marines is kind of examined relative to really what all we know is going to happen, and what this young, beautiful, collegiate man who’s a war hero, who goes straight, is going to end up to be: this man without a heart, who’s killed his own brother and alienated his wife… And I thought there could be one beautiful scene with him and Don Corleone as we remember him from the first movie. Since Marlon didn’t come, I made it the surprise party, and I built it up to the point where they all said, “Oh, he’s here. He’s here.” And they all run out of the room. And as you’re waiting for Marlon to come into the room, you just stay on Al… And I came up with the solution at, like - three in the morning. And the next day they said, “Well, Marlon’s not coming.” And I said, “That’s all right. I’ve got a scene we can do without him.” And it was this one. Also, I like that staging kind of, especially about families who ultimately dissolve in front of your eyes, the idea that you have a table full of people. And one by one, someone argues or someone goes off, and then you’re just left with one … And everything else now is just sound. The father comes, and you know he’s there, and you feel he’s there, but you’re left with Michael alone.” This quote comes from the director's commentary track off the Godfather Part II Blu-ray

The evidence against Tyler Robinson is overwhelming. It's not close. Robinson confessed. Repeatedly. In person to his partner Lance Twiggs, crying, saying he was sorry he did it. By text the night of the shooting. In a note left under his keyboard. In a Discord message announcing he was about to surrender. And then he did surrender, at 9 p.m. the next night, exactly as the message said. And the single hardest fact to wave away: in that text, Robinson described leaving the rifle in a bush, wrapped in a towel — accurately describing where and how the Mauser was found by police, before any of that was public. The gun was recovered exactly there. A Mauser 98 .30-06, wrapped in a black towel, in the wooded area across Campus Drive — right where surveillance shows the rooftop figure fleeing within minutes of the shot. His DNA is all over it. Major contributor on the stock, grips, trigger and trigger guard, bolt, barrel, and scope. On the fired casing. On two of the unfired casings. On the screwdriver left on the roof. The casings were engraved — "hey fascist! CATCH!" among them. A Dremel tool and a matching bit capable of making those exact engravings were found in his home. So was a separate "Test Shot" casing — forensically matched as fired by that same rifle — sitting on a safe next to his bedroom. Plus boxes of Remington .30-06 and perforated paper targets. Surveillance puts him there. On the Losee Center roof, lying in the prone position, facing the courtyard — then up and running the moment Charlie was shot. Visiting the campus three other times that day, in different clothing, including the roof and the amphitheater where the shooting happened — tied each time to his gray Dodge Challenger. His own phone puts him there. Two Google Maps routes stored on his device: one starting near the shooting scene 23 minutes after Charlie was killed, headed to a car wash — where surveillance confirms his Challenger arrived at 12:57. The second, at 1:33 a.m., in the early hours of Sept 11, routing from near the rifle's location directly back to his home. His car puts him there. A Ring camera caught the Challenger parked near campus after midnight. At 12:30 a.m. an officer contacted that car at Campus Drive, wrote down the plate, and traced it through DMV records straight to Robinson — the same window he was texting Twiggs about sneaking back for the gun. The autopsy fits. Cause of death: homicide by a single gunshot wound. Recovered fragments measured consistent with a .30-caliber bullet. His own family turned him in. His parents recognized him from the released images and confronted him. A family friend helped coordinate his surrender. Twiggs identified him on the surveillance footage. Countless people have been convicted of murder on a fraction of this. You can find one detail that isn't explained to pixel-perfect satisfaction — a battery that died, a blurry frame, a fragment ruled inconclusive, a witness's recollection. Fine. Now explain all of it. The confession that knew where the towel-wrapped gun was before police announced it. The DNA on the roof and weapon. The engraved casings and the tool that made them. The car. The phone. His own family. His own words. Explain all of it. Not one piece or one question — all of it. Video: Knubeltier

So here’s my New Year’s resolution for 2026, AMP UP THE TRUTH. Over the course of this month you’re going to see an expansion of all the hard work that went into the Truth Matters Project in 2025, including a parallel project called ‘The Battle for Britain’, I’m opening up a second front to fight the cancer the U.S. is exporting to the UK and Britain. 2026 marks a push that will I hope make a difference in what I believe will be the most consequential year in geopolitics in modern history. It makes me feel tired just to think about what’s ahead, but I’m all in. It’s time for those being extorted by Trump to fight back with a smarter more sustainable response. Listen to Scott Galloway here, he’s so right. It’s time for America to understand the words of Joni Mitchell, “You don’t know what you’ve got ‘till it’s gone’ What I would point out to Republicans is this. Trump is a dead man walking. All this bullshit about ‘We support Trump’ is frankly a joke, you can’t support a corpse and that’s where this is going. Once Trump’s in his golden casket, his cult followers will drain away back to the sewer from whence they came and where does that leave the Republican Party? His entire cabinet will need to flee the country and Steve Bannon will be an international fugitive. The International Criminal Court will need to employ more staff and MAGA will become MAGA who? You can’t sustain a regime on 34% of those eligible to vote. So to Republicans I say TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK, accountability is incoming. And no military can protect you from a coalition of partners you have chosen to extort and abuse. As for Trump, shrouds have no pockets. 🎥 TikTok -

We are very sad to share the loss of a member of our NFRSA family. RPD Alfie - ‘Alf’ for short, and who served for an astonishing ten years with WMP Dog Unit and West Midlands Police, slipped away with his tennis ball in his mouth last week and Darryl, his handler, shared his wonderful story. “Alf was gifted to West Midlands Police when he was just 10 months old. The reason given by his then owner (who was in tears) “he was so destructive we can’t do a thing with him. He’s a pain in the arse.” What should’ve been a 6 week course was completed in 4 weeks. Turns out he just needed a job.! Alfie went on to work for 10 years during which time he found numerous amounts of drugs, cash and firearms. On one occasion we arrived for our first early shift of the week. A shooting had occurred during the night in a particularly nice part of Birmingham and Alfie and I were tasked with searching for the outstanding firearm. Arriving at the scene I spoke with the Sgt in charge of the search team. “It’s a massive area full of all kinds of s**t. Could you just run Alf over it to see if he shows any interest anywhere. I’ll be in the van, give us a shout.” In typical Alfie fashion, off he went like a stabbed rat, clambering over all manner of junk only to freeze. He’d found it.!! The Sgt hadn’t even taken the froth off his coffee. No matter what time of day or night, no matter what the weather or search conditions Alfie gave his all. With his wonky front foot to his long whippy tail, he made me laugh everyday, he was a real little character. This was summed up on one particular occasion. Monday morning, refresher training. The instructor “We’ve been asked to give a demo at HQ for some VIPs.” Me “No, I don't do media” Later in the day we found ourselves at HQ in front of 100 or so VIPs, all sat in a lecture theatre waiting to be amazed by one of West Mids finest.! The instructor “I’ve hidden the gear (Drugs) in the electrical socket underneath the main screen so everyone can see him work.” In we go and Alfie goes to work, gradually getting closer & closer to the drugs. Standing on his back legs, front feet on the wall. I’m looking on like a proud Dad. Alfies almost on top of the drugs when all of a sudden he drops what he’s doing and shoots towards the audience, running between legs beneath the chairs towards the buffet..!! Oh dear, I thought.! Alfie, having helped himself to a Somosa came running back whilst struggling to swallow the thing. He then went straight back to the drugs giving a perfect “freeze” indication which got a round of applause from the now hysterical audience..!! I reluctantly gave a “click” for a job well done and he come flying over for his ball. As if things couldn’t get any worse and just for good measure Alfie started rolling around on his back all happy with himself and revealed his “pink lipstick”..!! That was Alfie.🥰🐾 Following retirement Alfie went to many a shoot with my wife Jane and our daughter Milly, retrieving & flushing game birds. He was a natural. He passed with a tennis ball in his mouth just the way he wanted. It was an absolute pleasure and honour to have worked Alfie. He put a smile on my face every single day. RIP Little man❤️” What a little star he was - thank you for your service Alfie. Sweet dreams.

“There were four entities.” “They had a large head, small body, and dark eyes.” This Air Force veteran just alleged that he was taken aboard a UFO from Vandenberg Air Force Base in 1964. And the entities revealed shocking things about the universe to him: First, they told him that they abducted him because they needed to access the nuclear weapons on the base. Why? Because they would never let humanity launch nukes. They told him that if humanity ever started a nuclear war, they would intervene. And they told him there are many other civilizations out there, some of which aren’t as “benevolent.” This is Richard Barth’s shocking testimony: It was 2 AM in September 1964. “I just saw a wall of fog … ” Barth was guarding a Minuteman missile launch site. “Next thing I know, I see this shadow in the fog … which appeared to be a man or a humanoid figure.” “And I could feel it in my mind.” “It was like it started grabbing hold of me.” “As it approached me, I tried to pull my pistol … and my right arm was paralyzed.” “It was terrifying.” “The next thing I know—I don’t know if I passed out, it’s just blank at that point—I’m inside this circular room.” “I’m on my knees, and there’s a 2.5-3 foot circle that’s clear.” “I could see through it.” “There’s this figure to my right, and it’s communicating with me: ‘don’t look at me, just look through the circle.’” “It’s weird, because it’s not words.” “So I’m looking at the circle, and what you see initially is just this gray fog.” “All of a sudden, this kind of clears away—like clouds splitting.” “It’s just getting light, and I can see this truck pull up to the gate.” “A guard came over to the right side of a truck and was … checking whoever was driving, opened the gate, let the truck in, and then the clouds closed up.” “I’m still looking through this hole, and … I kind of raised my eyes to look around.” “There were, opposite me, about 6-10 feet away, these four figures sitting on a bench.” “The wall of the—I’ll call it a craft—I could see that the bench was just a continuation of the material of whatever the wall was.” “The figures were silhouetted, like the light source was from the wall, but very consistent.” “They had a large head and smaller body, disproportionate.” “The eyes were discernible because they were darker than the skin.” Next thing he knew, Barth was back in his guard shack, lying on the floor. “There’s a little porch right in front of the door to the guard shack … and this being is sitting on the porch and has my head in its lap.” “It’s communicating: ‘I’m sorry, we didn’t mean to scare you … but we had to have access to the site.’” “The other thing was … it did not want me to see it.” “He says: ‘now I’m gonna leave, and I want you to just keep your eyes shut.’” “He left, and … I laid there for maybe fifteen minutes with my eyes shut.” “I finally got up and looked around, and … there’s a ridge of mountains … and the sun was coming up over that ridge.” “It was a beautiful sight.” “There was a little chipmunk on the ground, and I just felt so much love for that little chipmunk.” “I felt like I was joined with that chipmunk, one living creature to another, and it kind of just looked back at me and scurried away.” What is your reaction to Richard Barth’s testimony? ⬛ Austin Ekeler: From D2 to the League He ran for 5,857 yards at Western Colorado Football. Signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent. Led the NFL in touchdowns twice. Now with the Washington Commanders and still producing strong. He’s one of the best to ever come out of Division II. ⬇️ Western State, now Western Colorado, was the only program that offered him a shot at running back. He stayed four full years and became one of the most productive players the RMAC has ever seen. He averaged 146 rushing yards and 1.6 touchdowns per game over 40 starts. He put together one of the strongest careers in D2 history...and he didn’t have to leave to do it. At Western, Ekeler dominated. He averaged more than 100 rushing yards per game across four seasons, led the country in all-purpose yards in 2015, and earned academic honors alongside his on-field production. By the time he wrapped up his senior year, he was a Harlon Hill finalist with nearly 6,000 rushing yards to his name. His work was undeniable. But he still didn’t get a Combine invite. The draft came and went. No calls. Then the Los Angeles Chargers brought him into camp on a rookie deal and gave him a shot. He took it from there. He made the roster as a rookie and started producing immediately. First as a change-of-pace option. Then as a third-down threat. Then as the guy. In 2021 and 2022, he led the NFL in total touchdowns. He stacked back-to-back seasons with more than 1,500 scrimmage yards and at least 15 total scores. He caught 107 passes in 2022, the most by any running back in Los Angeles Chargers history. The production hasn’t slowed down. In 2024, he signed with the Washington Commanders. He’s still outworking people. Division II didn’t slow him down. It prepared him. The hours. The discipline. The ability to carry the weight of a program while juggling everything else college throws at you. That’s what this level teaches. That’s why it sticks. There are players right now doing the same thing. Grinding through the spring, stacking film, putting together complete seasons. Some will make it. Not because someone finally believed in them, but because they never stopped believing in themselves. That’s what turns a D2 shot into an NFL career. ⬛ College Career 🔹 5,857 rushing yards, 63 total touchdowns 🔹 4× First-Team All-RMAC Sports 🔹 2013 RMAC Offensive Freshman of the Year 🔹 Led D2 in all-purpose yards per game (203.9) in 2015 🔹 2016 Harlon Hill Trophy Finalist 🔹 First-Team Academic All-America (CoSIDA) 🔹 RMAC Academic Player of the Year (2014) 🔹 2018 Western Colorado Alumni Award of Excellence ⬛ NFL Career 🔹 Signed by Los Angeles Chargers in 2017 (UDFA) 🔹 NFL leader in total touchdowns: 20 (2021), 18 (2022) 🔹 Only player with 10+ rush and 5+ receiving TDs in back-to-back seasons since Marshall Faulk 🔹 One of two UDFAs with 1,500+ scrimmage yards and 15+ TDs in two straight years (with Priest Holmes) 🔹 107 catches in 2022, most by a running back in Los Angeles Chargers history 🔹 PFF Second-Team All-Pro (2019) 🔹 NFL Top 100: Ranked #21 in 2023 🔹 AFC Offensive Player of the Week (Week 17, 2022) 🔹 Over 7,000 scrimmage yards and 70+ career touchdowns 🔹 Signed with the Washington Commanders in 2024 ⬛ Off the Field 🔹 Owns more than 115 rental properties in Colorado and Missouri 🔹 Built the Eksperience app to connect athletes and fans 🔹 Co-founded Gridiron Gaming Group 🔹 75+ endorsement deals (Adidas, Chipotle, Frito-Lay, more) 🔹 Founded the Austin Ekeler Foundation in 2021 🔹 Former host of “Ekeler’s Edge” with Yahoo Sports Ekeler’s story isn’t rare because he came from Division II. It stands out because he stayed in it, believed in it, and maxed it out. That’s what this level does when the right player buys in. Who’s next? #D2Football #AustinEkeler #WesternColorado #RMAC #NFL #Undrafted #Division2 #D2Built #D2ToTheLeague
