The other day on Brother Counsel's debate with Dave Aronberg we saw how dangerous it can be when clowns attain state sanctioned power. He didn't know any of the facts, didn't care about any of the expert testimony, and baselessly said that Karen Read was acquitted due to jury nullification. But what I thought was most ridiculous was when he said there was no probable cause to search Brian Albert's house, despite the fact that John O'Keefe was invited there and was found dead on Albert's lawn. I know how ridiculous that is because Brian Tully got a judge to sign a search warrant for my house, and the probable cause was that I did a YouTube show in my house, and supposedly there would be more witness intimidation inside the house, as if it's a bloody knife or DNA. If there was just a dead cop on my lawn they'd leave me alone. The police searched every inch of my house and took over 300 pictures. I want to show you all the witness intimidation they found:

This woman was going out and decided to pull into a dark road on the side of the highway that doesn’t get much traffic. She pulls her car over and gets sets up a camera and gets out so that she could do a “fit check” to make sure her outfit looks nice. There was a man who was walking away from her, as soon as she turned her back, he turned around and started walking towards her. She should have been more aware of what was happening around her. I think the man was hoping she would stick around longer, that’s why he turned back around. Wouldn’t you pick a more busy place to do something like this instead of a remote road away from traffic. In college sometimes I was working some odd jobs to make ends meet so I didn’t have to take out a loan. That meant sometimes I was walking back to the apartment at night, most of the time it was busy and there were people still walking around in the middle of the night, getting food or trying to make it home. It was a colder night than usual, the fall goat was warning me that winter was coming. Colder nights meant less people out and about. On the way home I was going to swing by the corner store to grab something to eat so I wouldn’t have to cook. As I was walking out I saw that there were a group of people at the corner, just hanging out and having a smoke, it was dark and I couldn’t see how many there was. I turned around and went back into the store. I let the clerk know and he looked out to see what was going on and he saw them too. He said to be careful because sometimes gang members like to hang out by that corner. I couldn’t call the police because they technically weren’t doing anything but I wasn’t about to find out either. I ended up waiting until they left about 15 minutes later.c then I proceeded to walk home, but not without looking behind me to make sure I wasn’t being followed.

This week I got to interview Hamish McArthur for Climbing Gold. One of the interesting nuggets was that he said one of his gifts as a climber (besides being the first person to climb V17 in a session…) was his ability to quickly assess and learn from his movement. It inspired me to start videoing attempts on the board, and lo and behold I sent a few things with subtle tweaks to body position, etc. I guess I may have to join modernity and start using video as a tool more…

OK, I have a definitive word on the CJ Abrams play from today's Pittsburgh Pirates at Washington Nationals game after talking with Elias Sports Bureau on this. This play will stay as a sacrifice fly. The originial ruling of NOT a sacrifice fly was for the exact same reason that I thought, which is that the infielder is not running into the outfield, which is year's past would have been correct As it was explained to me, in past years, an infielder had to be running almost in a straight line towards the outfield wall to be considered "running in the outfield". Here, since he is running, and he ends up further away from home (157 feet) than when he started (145 feet), this is going to count as a sacrifice fly. That definition is changing, in part from this play to help bring greater consistency, and to take some of the guesswork out of it (the argument that he is running into the outfield as opposed to more parallel). Now, folks all the time ask "why doesn't MLB publish the OS Manual" and I always say because it is a living document that can have the wording change, and the wording for this play will be modified to something like "more towards the outfield wall than towards home plate" to eliminate any confusion. The big key to this play is that he was running on a full sprint. Also, and this is helpful for me, but for all fly ball outs that score a run, Elias Saba reviews to ensure consistency. So, yes, it's a sacrifice fly, and now that I have that info from Elias themselves, that sort of settles this one. Sounds like the guidelines for this definition will be changing, either this season, or certainly for next season.

Of note, in reference to the call Kearney had with Read's attorneys on 04/20/2023, through his phone extraction we discovered Kearney may have illegally recorded the 16 minute call and sent that recording to multiple parties stating it was "Karen Read's attorneys". Same driveway. It wasn’t that long ago I was knelt down in that same spot, taking the training wheels off her bike. Holding the seat. Running alongside. Letting go before she knew I let go. Today the car was packed, and she pulled out of that same driveway - headed to Ole Miss. She said goodbye to the dogs. To her brother. To me. And she took a piece of my heart with her 💔 I’ll see her in a couple of days. Doesn’t matter. It still hurts. But I thank God for the ache, because it means I got to be here for all of it. I get to watch her journey. I get to hold space for it. And she needs to know this, always: This is your home. I will always be here. Go be great, Princess. Dad’s got you. I love you infinitely ❤️💙

This woman was catching flack for running down the highway to stop traffic so this huge herd of geese could cross. She specifically is trying to get that truck to stop who seems intent on inching closer to the geese instead of waiting patiently like the other cars. Many were calling her a Karen. I don’t think she was a Karen at all, she’s CARING. It’s sad how people don’t want to stop for animals and would rather run them down. This is their world too, we need to learn to share it. Have you ever seen a herd of geese that large crossing a road? Do you think she was being a Karen or do you think she was being kind?

Going to the Utah Football this week, I parked on top of a parking structure directly east of Allegiant stadium. There was a dude in a silver 2000s era Tacoma, set up with a bipod, camera, and in full tactical gear, looking over the crowd. Nothing said “police” on him anywhere. And given the terrible shooting that happened in Vegas, I immediately alerted the police. This is the video of a cop talking to him. I still don’t know what he was doing from that vantage point. I do not believe he was law enforcement. I admit I could be wrong. But better safe than sorry. Here’s the video.
