Vanquish is a cool game

I don't think any game has a dodge move that feels quite as snappy and precise as this

Too bad it ends so quickly. It ends on a cliffhanger right when you think you're gonna move onto some big climax and it's doubtful it'll ever get a sequel either.

Why did they kill cool but not necessarily amazing games with low budgets man. Is it the budget thing? I swear there are still players for them. Look at ULTRAKILL

Games like this just don't happen anymore, not from teams like this anyway. It's all in the indie scene now, and they usually still lack the budget to have the production value a game like this has, it's sad.

the best game out there, it should've reeinvented the cover shooter scene. But people werent ready for it.

Mikami's games almost always push the genre in some way and yet nobody takes notice :(

Too bad Sega made the bonkers decision to release it on the same day as Fallout: New Vegas. As a kid I remember I couldn't have both and well... sorry Vanquish.

Publishers sticking to releasing games on the same day as something much more anticipated is always baffling to me

If I were to change one thing about Vanquish, I'd change the weapon upgrade system. And I'd microwave San Francisco Twice.

The progression is definitely lacking, it would've been nice to have more interesting weapon upgrades and also upgrade your suit to boost for longer and not drain it with melee and so on
