Stargate Trivia: Casting Stargate: Atlantis While SG-1 was my first love (We were together for seven years!), my time on Atlantis proved equally memorable. The show was possessed of a similar tone in its mix of high adventure and humor, yet proved distinct in its exploration of Ancient mythology and an unfamiliar galaxy as seen through the eyes of a new set of heroes. Atlantis offered a sense of wonder and camaraderie born of isolation and constant danger. Whereas team SG-1 could always go home at the conclusion of their adventures, the members of the Atlantis expedition (at least for those first few seasons) could only draw comfort from the city of Atlantis itself – and, of course, each other. It was unique and compelling yet, at the same time, comfortingly familiar. Nowhere is this more evident than in its opening theme, composed by the late Joel Goldsmith, which is, at turns fresh, haunting, stirring and, throughout, discernibly Stargate. Stargate: Atlantis wasn’t envisioned as a companion to Stargate: SG-1. It was intended to replace the long-running series. The only problem was, with eight seasons under its belt, SG-1 wasn’t quite done yet. And fans (and the network) weren’t done with it either. And so, instead of passing the torch and segueing to a new Stargate series, we ended up producing both. In retrospect, it was quite an achievement: 40 hours of television! Today's productions can barely manage a third that output, but Stargates SG-1 and Atlantis delivered two fantastic 40 episode seasons before SG-1 took it’s final bow. It wasn’t easy, but it was certainly made easier by all of the enormously talented individuals who made it happen, from the office staff and crew to the cast and my fellow writer/producers. Still, it was not without its challenges. Take casting, for instance. It may surprise you to know that, when it comes to producing a show, not everybody cares about costumes or set design or whether the script’s fifth act denouement is emotionally satisfying - but everybody, and I do mean EVERYBODY, has an opinion on casting. Studio and network execs, producers, hell, even your significant other peering over your shoulder as you screen the auditions on your home computer, will want to weigh in. Of course, the more voices in the mix the more likely there are to be disagreements. So it is with every production and Atlantis was no different. Different individuals envisioned these characters in very different ways and, as a result, consensus was only achieved after many auditions, calls-backs, heated discussions, and not-so-gentle reminders that our start date was fast-approaching and we really needed someone to say the lines on camera. The part of Carson Beckett was one of the first we cast. The other producers were in Rob’s office, screening the first batch of local auditions when Brad called me in and told me to check out the guy onscreen. I hadn’t imagined Beckett with a Scottish accent but, after watching Paul McGillion in the role, I couldn’t imagine him without one. He’d brought something unexpected to the part, something we all responded to. Elizabeth Weir was not an easy character to pull off. She had to be smart, confident and strong yet needed to exude a certain warmth and empathy we were looking for in the civilian leader of the expedition. When it came time to (re)casting the role, several established names were considered (One had her own hit genre show back in the day while another went on to break out on a hit show soon after), but it was Torri Higginson who managed to strike just the right balance and vault her name to the top of the list. The role of Teyla Emmagan was a tough one to cast. Like Weir, she needed to be a strong, empathetic leader. But she also required something even more important – quite literally, an other-worldly quality that made her unique. Some equally talented actresses auditioned for the role but, as good as they were, they were never quite able to achieve that gravitas Rachel pulled off with such grace and seeming ease. Former VJ Rainbow Sun Francks won the role of Lieutenant Ford on the strength of a great audition, preceded by an equally great audition with a funny hat. I recall Brad Wright on the phone with our casting agent, advising him to ensure there would be no hat worn in the callback for fear the network would fixate on it. There wasn't, they didn't, and Rainbow delivered. The role of John Sheppard was the second to last one cast. It came right down to the wire and there were several candidates in play. The character was originally envisioned as a good ole southern boy, so it only made sense that Ben Browder’s name was bandied about early. However, he was too busy shooting Peacekeeper Wars to warrant consideration. A number of other actors were considered (one went on to play the lead in a hugely popular show the following year while another made his mark as a handsome heart throb on another hugely popular medical series) but it was Joe Flanigan who won the part based on his ability to pull off the devil-may-care attitude Brad and Robert were looking for. We come to the final role cast, a character who, in many ways, embodied everything Atlantis was about: exploration, discovery, fun, humor, and seat-of-your-pants-Holy-Sh&%-how-the-hell-am-I-going-to-get-out-of-this-adventure. And, as I mentioned in a previous post, he almost didn’t make the trip to Pegasus. Originally, the casting call went out for a completely different character, an earnest young doctor who would lend the team much-needed medical support on their off-world ventures. Unfortunately, no one could agree on who that actor should be. If the casting of Sheppard went down to the wire, then the casting of this final role went a step past it. Finally, days away from production, Robert Cooper had an idea: Forget the doctor character. Why not use an established character from SG-1? How about Rodney McKay? The writers were on board, but some executives weren't weren’t sold on the idea. They found him annoying! Hell yeah, but he’d be sooo much fun to write for! Rob got on the phone and went to bat for Rodney, pointing out that the character had come a long way since first being introduced way back in SG-1’s 48 Hours. He’d evolved, going from annoying jerk to endearingly irritating. To this day, I’m convinced that they weren’t totally convinced but, with production poised to commence, they relented, I suppose figuring they could just replace the character somewhere down the line. No one, even those who loved the idea of having the endearingly irritating Rodney McKay on board could have predicted how hugely popular the character would become.

Actress Janine Gutierrez weighed in on the growing trend of social media personalities landing acting roles, saying visibility may open doors, but it’s still talent and discipline that sustain a career. Speaking candidly about how difficult it is to break into the industry, Gutierrez acknowledged that aspiring actors today are finding new ways to get noticed, particularly through platforms like TikTok and YouTube. “It’s so hard to penetrate the industry, even get a guesting role, if you don’t know anyone,” she said in an exclusive radar Entertainment interview. “So, I’m amazed at the kids, or in any way that you can audition, like whether it’s getting yourself out there on TikTok or on YouTube, laban lang. Because of course, it’s really hard.” For Gutierrez, using social media as a springboard is not something to dismiss. In fact, she sees it as a form of self-advocacy in an increasingly competitive field. “So, however you can advocate for yourself, I think, props to you,” she added. However, the actress was quick to draw the line between gaining attention online and delivering as a performer once given the opportunity. “But of course, when you get to the set, or when you get an opportunity, you really need to work hard and do your best. And you can’t just rely on your followers,” she said. Gutierrez emphasized that while follower count may help aspiring actors get noticed, it does not replace the fundamentals of the craft. “Because at the end of the day, if you want to be an artist, the basis for us is if we can deliver on the scene,” she explained. “So, always work hard, listen to your directors, and be professional. I think at the end of the day, that’s really what will get you to where you want to go.” Her remarks come amid ongoing conversations in the entertainment industry about influencer-driven casting, where social media reach is increasingly considered alongside acting ability. “The Loyalty Game” is currently airing exclusively on Prime Video. New episodes drop weekly on Thursdays. The psychological thriller starring Gutierrez, Jericho Rosales, and Sofia Andres made its debut on July 3. (✍️, 🎥: Marinel Cruz) #radarPH #radarPHEntertainment

Potential Planned Crisis Incoming. Google Is Preparing For A Sensitive Event 🚨 Man Who Is High Up In Google Shares Internal Email Saying “February 2024, Google will update the inappropriate content policy for unforeseen sensitive events — including civil emergencies, natural disasters, public health emergencies, terrorism, and related activities, conflict or mass acts of violence” Something is coming just in time for the 2024 Presidential Election “Anyway, so this is what's go going on in Google. I have friends in tech, like, very, uh, very high up in tech that are monitoring the situation. He said, woah. Alright. He says, I got this email. Ides of March are on there prepping now. Um, dear advertiser, in February 2024, Google will update the inappropriate content policy to clarify the definition of sensitive, uh, events. A sensitive event is an unforeseen event or development that creates significant risk to Google's um, ability to provide high quality relevant information and ground truth and reduce insensitive or exploitative content um, and prominent and monetized features. During a sensitive event, we may take a variety of actions to address these risks. Um, examples of sensitive events include, uh, significant social, cultural, or political impacts, such as civil emergencies, uh, natural disasters, public health emergencies, terrorism, and related activities, conflict or mass acts of violence. Examples of what's prohibited, um, products or services that exploit, dismiss, or condone the sensitive event, including price gouging um, we're artificially inflating prices that prohibits, restricts access to vital supplies, sales of products, blah blah blah. Okay. So um, so my buddy's like, it's on. They're prepping. They're ready to do it. And I said, what does that mean? He said, Google is changing their terms of service to get ready for a major event, um, controlling the way advertisers and publishers are allowed to talk about it in very specific ways. Hints as to what the event is are in the text. Um, they mentioned inflation, price gouging, mass violence, victim blaming, and a bunch of stuff. Just read the text of it. So they will be able to turn off and shut um, down. Anyone using Google Ads, publishers, content creators, advertisers that don't tow the line in the next unforeseen event. They call it a sensitive event. Um, this would include all advertising on Google Search, AdSense, YouTube. They say that they are about to make these changes to the TOS, but um, when you go to the website to see the new TOS, they aren't updated yet. They're getting prepped. I'm sure they have lawyers working on this, internal training going on, putting special moderators um, in place. Okay. So what I predict, which, uh, I'm never totally right on, um, but I usually rhyme. Like, I'm usually within the ballpark is, uh, some form of banking collapse um, that will be that will be controlled. Like, don't be afraid of any of this shit, guys, at all. Um, so no access to money in a bank for maybe a week. They don't wanna go too long because they don't wanna actually lose the system. They want you guys to stay alive and functional. They just want you really afraid, um, and then the solution will be central bank digital currency sent directly um, to your phone and universal basic income, but you'll still you know? And to bring that about, they may have to do an event um, because every, uh, every major move needs a story behind it, whether it was 911 or COVID nineteen or whatever it is.”

$ASTS | Scott Wisniewski at JP Morgan conference, May 18, 2026 Transcript - part 1 Good afternoon, everyone. I'm Sebastiano Petty, and I cover the telecom, cable, and satellite space here at J.P. Morgan. I'd like to welcome Scott Wisniewski, President and Chief Strategy Offer of ASTS Space Mobile. Scott, thanks for joining us. Thank you for having me. You're good. You're live. Can you hear me? All right. Thank you for having me. Great. So, Scott, just to start, let's zoom out. As you sit here in mid-2026, with Bluebirds launching, commercial service activation approaching, and the government pipeline accelerating, where are you spending most of your time as President and Chief Strategy Officer? And more broadly, what are your two to three highest priority objectives over the next 18 months as you transition from what has primarily been an R&D and manufacturing story into a scaled revenue-generating operating company? Thank you. And for those who don't know us that well, we were founded about a decade ago around the direct-to-device opportunity. That's what we do. That's our entire strategy. It's from space, of course, and we build our own satellites, and we'll be operating them and selling capacity on them. But at its core, we are a direct-to-device pure play. And over the years, I met our founder in January 2019, but over the years, telling our equity story, people always asked three questions. Does it work? Can you fund it? And how big will the market be, or will there be a market? And that's our traditional private company questions that we still got even as a public company for a while, and we really retired those risks in 2023, 2024, and 2025. And so this year, yeah, you're exactly right. Traditional growth stuff, scaling stuff is where we are. And for us, if I were to say two simple things, one is network deployment. The vast majority of the folks in the company are focused on exactly that, network deployment now for revenue in 2026 and 2027 and beyond. And then the second one is, I think, building the market out in the right way. This is a brand new service. It's a service that is at the very heart of connectivity. Remember, we all know the trends in connectivity. When I started my career in connectivity, there was a question, bubble, what inning are we in? When is the expansion going to end? And then, of course, AI comes along, and there's always something every couple of years. So for us, we're at the heart of connectivity. We can do coverage better than any terrestrial footprint by its very nature. And making connectivity work for our partners, the mobile network operators, and ultimately for the consumer mass market among other markets, is our focus. So building out that market is our second priority. Great. And let's address the news from last week. AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile announced a proposed joint venture to extend mobile connectivity using satellite-based D2D technologies. You guys put out a statement commending the announcement. Unpack this for us. What does this mean for ASTS in practice? Does it change your commercial positioning with the carriers? Does it accelerate or maybe even complicate your path to service? So we really value the carrier relationship. We've organized the business, the technology, the go-to-market strategy. Everything we do, really, is about making connectivity better for the mobile network operators. And so you see that in where we've prioritized the company over the years. You see that in how we've built out the tech. And even the network stack is organized with the RAN on the ground, so the operators control it. So that's really been our focus. We share their spectrum, although we also have our own spectrum now. And that's always been the approach. Part1, 1 (of 2)

Arguably, the most "antisemitic" verses of the Quran are in Surah 2, verses 65-71. First, watch this video, then I'll explain. Now, people will readily point out, "They are trying to fool God!" Yes, but that's just the first layer. The deeper point is that they are engaging in malicious compliance. "Malicious compliance" is defined as: "Following instructions or rules exactly, but with the deliberate intention of causing a negative or unintended outcome, often as a form of passive-aggressive behavior." The point of malicious compliance is to passive-aggressively protest against the rule-making authority, even to the point of mockery. The entire religion of Judaism is a twisted mess of malicious compliance as a mockery of God and God's Law. God describes this in the Quran. God just told the followers of Moses to not work on the Sabbath, meaning, don't do your normal money-making activities one day a week. A very simple command from God; just give up one day of gathering shekels for the sake of God. Can you do that? And they said no, so God punished them. And then, rather than humble themselves before God, they became passive aggressive. "Oh so God doesn't want me to work? Well tearing toilet paper to wipe my bottom after going to the bathroom is work, so I guess I can't do that!" Then they whine that God has oppressed them with a burden too great, but they still comply because they're such good, amazing, moral people, the light of the world! They make it seem like God is the villain for telling them not to work on the Sabbath, but they will happily "bear that cross" because of how righteous they are. Anyway, God describes all this perfectly and succintly in the Quran 2:65-71, as follows: You are already aware of those of you who broke the Sabbath. We said to them, “Be disgraced apes!” So We made their fate an example to present and future generations, and a lesson to the God-fearing. And ˹remember˺ when Moses said to his people, “Allah commands you to sacrifice a cow.” They replied, “Are you mocking us?” Moses responded, “I seek refuge in Allah from acting foolishly!” They said, “Call upon your Lord to clarify for us what type ˹of cow˺ it should be!” He replied, “Allah says, ‘The cow should neither be old nor young but in between. So do as you are commanded!’” They said, “Call upon your Lord to specify for us its colour.” He replied, “Allah says, ‘It should be a bright yellow cow—pleasant to see.’” Again they said, “Call upon your Lord so that He may make clear to us which cow, for all cows look the same to us. Then, Allah willing, we will be guided ˹to the right one˺.” He replied, “Allah says, ‘It should have been used neither to till the soil nor water the fields; wholesome and without blemish.’” They said, “Now you have come with the truth.” Yet they still slaughtered it hesitantly! [Quran 2: 67-71] Notice first how they respond to God's command by accusing God of mocking them. This is, of course, projection, or, in today's parlance, "Every accusation is a confession." They proceed to engage in malicious compliance with endless frivolous questions, "We just want to make sure we slaughter exactly the right cow that God the Almighty has commanded us lowly servants. What? Are you going to fault us for being too meticulous?" They mock God and his prophets and, for this, they are cursed.

📺 $TSLA MAY HAVE BOTTOMED… WHAT'S NEXT? Please ❤️like and 🔁share with fellow Tesla traders/investors #Tesla nearly hit the key downside target of $335.93 (actual low was $337.24, within ~1%) on Tuesday. It marked the completion of a multi-week sell cycle from the breakdown below $430.56. The downside move has likely done its job. Now what? * $335.93 is a major long-term support level based on a 6+ month channel structure. If price holds above ~1% of this level, it shifts from bearish continuation to a potential accumulation/reversal zone. This is where swing traders start buying and longer-term players build positions. * $347.53 is the key short-term pivot. If #TSLA opens/holds above this, it signals immediate strength. $356.54 is a major resistance level (50% retracement level). Likely to cap near-term highs initially. So, we expect the first push to test $356, then a possible pullback back to mid-$330s. * However, if momentum holds, we expect the $390.12 – $393.06 zone (3/8 Fibonacci level, channel resistance). Important: this zone can reject the price initially and could lead to range-bound action between $330s and $390s. So, $TSLA may form a wedge/consolidation and trade sideways while “deciding direction.” But we lean bullish if the price holds above $335. If #TSLA breaks and closes above $356.54, then $390s likely within 1–2 weeks. Eventually, we expect a move toward the $430s, even the low $500s, longer term. This isn’t just a bounce — it could be the start of a larger rotation higher. * So, $TSLA likely completed its downside cycle near $335. That level is major structural support, not just a bounce point. Short-term, expect push → resistance → possible pullback. Medium-term: range + consolidation. We expect a gradual move toward $390, then potentially much higher. * If you enjoyed this update, please ❤️like and 🔁retweet Watch the full $TSLA Trading Plan for Apr 8, 2026 in this short video🔽

A QUICK TECH FIX TO BYPASS THE TEDIOUS MANUAL SEARCH IN SIR DRAFT ROLL–2026 Tired of manually scanning ~1,000 names in the SIR Draft Roll–2026 just to check whether your name exists? Here’s a simple workaround. 🔹 Download the PDF of the SIR–2026 Draft Roll for your Polling Station 🔹 Right-click → Open with the latest version of Google Chrome (Desktop/Laptop only) 🔹 Chrome magically makes the PDF searchable, even though the Spokesperson ECI had rendered it machine non-readable on almost all standard PDF readers, including Adobe. 👉 This means Ctrl + F works in Chrome, sparing you the eye-straining, page-by-page hunt. I am attaching screen recording. Trust me: I spent nearly 15 minutes manually scanning every page of the correct polling booth and still couldn’t find my name. This trick worked instantly. #GyaneshKumar certainly makes life “interesting” for those of us who enjoy pushing technology to its limits 😃 Background (Why this hack is needed): ✅ Since 2023, Election Commission of India has been issuing Electoral Rolls in machine non-readable PDFs. As a result, searching names using Ctrl+F is disabled on most PDF readers. ✅ Shockingly, even EPIC numbers are not searchable in the SIR Draft Roll PDFs, arguably in violation of directions of the #SupremeCourtofIndia, making verification unnecessarily cumbersome. ✅ Searching by EPIC number or personal details on only gives the serial number in the existing Electoral Roll, which may not match the serial number in the SIR Draft Roll–2026, because: Some voters above you may not have submitted enrolment forms, or Their data could not be mapped till now with the 2002–03 SIR database. ✅ Opening the PDF in the latest Chrome (Desktop) solves this problem. ✅ For Indian language rolls (including Hindi), use a Unicode-enabled keyboard such as the Microsoft Indic Language Input Tool or similar. ⚠️ Note: This workaround works on a PC/laptop only. The mobile version of Chrome doesn’t support this yet, maybe a future update will. So, Jagat Prakash Nadda Mallikarjun Kharge Mamata Banerjee M.K.Stalin - தமிழ்நாட்டை தலைகுனிய விடமாட்டேன் Rahul Gandhi Pinarayi Vijayan may also want to run some quick data analytics using this very trick. Incidentally, there are simple and well-established tools through which such electoral roll PDFs can be made fully machine-readable. This is precisely what Nitin Sethi and his team demonstrated while identifying over 14 lakh duplicate voters in #BiharSIR2025. In an era where data analytics, AI, and OCR tools are routine, it is difficult to comprehend why the Election Commission of India continues to insist on issuing non-searchable electoral rolls, by relying on a narrow interpretation of the Kamal Nath judgment (2018) on Electoral Rolls. Transparency, verifiability, and ease of access are core democratic values, not optional conveniences. Purity of electoral rolls must take precedence over individual privacy. After all, the Electoral Roll only has age and address. A democracy survives on one person–one vote, not on opacity disguised as data protection. Free and fair elections are a constitutional imperative and that requires a publicly verifiable Electoral Rolls. 🙏 CEO Uttar Pradesh CEO West Bengal Chief Electoral Officer, Chhattisgarh CEO RAJASTHAN Maneesh Garg IAS Rajdeep ThePrintIndia Chief Electoral Officer Tamil Nadu may also want to have a look.

🚨 China's unemployment crisis in 2026 — by the numbers, and by the faces behind them. The CCP calls it "seasonal fluctuation." The people living it call it despair. 📊 THE OFFICIAL NUMBERS — AND WHY THEY'RE WORSE THAN THEY LOOK In March 2026, China's official youth unemployment rate (ages 16–24, excluding students) rose to 16.9% — a 4-month high, reversing six consecutive months of decline. That's nearly 1 in 6 young people with no job. But here's the catch: China counts anyone who works even ONE hour per week as "employed." The US threshold is 15 hours. France is 20 hours. By any international standard, the real number is far higher. In fact, Peking University economist Zhang Dandan calculated that China's true youth unemployment rate in early 2023 was up to 46.5% — more than double the official figure. There is no reason to believe conditions have improved since. And it's not just the young: — Ages 25–29: 7.7% unemployed (highest since March 2025) — Ages 30–59: 4.3% unemployed (rising) — Overall urban unemployment: 5.4% — a 13-month high as of March 2026 This year, 12.7 million university graduates will enter the job market — 480,000 more than last year. A record high. Into an economy that is shrinking, not growing. 👤 THE FACES BEHIND THE NUMBERS These are not statistics. These are people. A young man sits on a curb in Sichuan, crying. "I genuinely have no money left. Not a single yuan." He has been looking for work for months. He is not in any government database as "unemployed" — because he gave up registering. A migrant worker in his 40s, who spent 20 years building China's cities, returns to his village. The construction site closed. The factory moved. The restaurant shut down. He has no pension. No safety net. Nothing. A fresh graduate, armed with a degree that cost her family years of savings, applies to hundreds of positions. She receives form rejections — or silence. She moves back home. Her parents tell her to "keep trying." She stops telling them how many rejections she has collected. A street vendor in Guangzhou sets up his stall at 6am. By noon, he has sold almost nothing. Foot traffic has collapsed. Everyone around him is cutting spending. He is, technically, "self-employed" — and therefore invisible in the unemployment statistics. 🏭 WHY IS THIS HAPPENING? The CCP's answer: seasonal factors. Global headwinds. Trade friction. The reality: 1. Fixed asset investment — the engine of China's growth for decades — grew only 1.7% in Q1 2026, down from 4.2% in Q1 2025. Investment is collapsing. 2. The property sector, which once drove nearly 30% of economic activity, remains in freefall. Construction has stopped on millions of homes. The workers who built them have nowhere to go. 3. China's major tech companies — Alibaba, Tencent, ByteDance, JD·com — have been cutting headcount for years, under government pressure that made private enterprise feel like a liability, not an asset. 4. Foreign companies are leaving or reducing exposure. The market that once promised unlimited growth now promises unpredictability. 5. Deflation has taken hold. When prices fall, businesses earn less. When businesses earn less, they hire less — or fire more. When people fear job loss, they spend less. The cycle feeds itself. The result: a generation of educated, capable, ambitious young Chinese people — doing nothing. Not because they won't work. Because there is no work. 🔇 WHAT THE CCP DOES INSTEAD OF SOLVING IT When youth unemployment hit a record 21.3% in June 2023, the government didn't fix it. They stopped publishing the data. For months, the numbers disappeared from official releases entirely. When they returned, the methodology had been changed — students were excluded, age brackets were redefined — making direct comparisons harder and the figures look cleaner. In May 2026, authorities began officially renaming homeless people "dispersed persons" (流散人员). Not to help them. To make them statistically disappear. This is the CCP's answer to suffering: rename it. Redefine it. Delete it from the dataset. 📉 THE COST OF "LYING FLAT" A generation of Chinese youth have embraced 躺平 (tǎng píng) — "lying flat." Not as laziness. As rational surrender. Why work 996 hours (9am to 9pm, 6 days a week) for a company that will downsize you anyway? Why compete for jobs that don't exist? Why take on a mortgage for an apartment in a building that may never be completed? The state tells them to be patriotic, to sacrifice, to trust the Party's vision. They've watched that vision fail them. So they lie flat. And the CCP — which created the conditions for this — blames them for lacking ambition. ——— The people in these videos are not failures. They are not lazy. They are not "seasonal fluctuations." They are the cost of a political system that prioritizes control over people, data management over truth, and the Party's image over the lives of 1.4 billion human beings. Share this. The numbers will be deleted again. The faces should not be forgotten. NEWS CENTRAL SILENCED MY VOICE!!! For 4+ hours, a “public discourse” space by News Central TV (News Central TV )hosted only one side. When it finally opened for 2 minutes of engagement, I spoke—and was the only person repeatedly interrupted. After the host said the people from the APC declined, I asked to proceed. Instead, I was removed. This isn’t moderation. It’s control. You can hear clearly when i ask to proceed, ilemona clearly yeilds to me, but i dont speak. That is the moment i was dropped. Gbenga Aborowa 🅾️ you asked to put in a word, even after i muted my mic i was dropped. I have a right to criticize you, the press should be the one championing my right to freedom of expression, but you limited my voice simply because it was critical of you and stating my observations. I was not disrespectful or rude, maybe assertive. Worse, this isn’t new. On Feb 26, I raised this same concern respectfully and even less directly when they ran a similar one-sided space, branding Nigeria “Abegistan.” They knew. They ignored it. The media calls itself the 4th estate—holding power accountable. But today, News Central TV behaved exactly like the power they claim to scrutinize: Selective participation. Managed dissent. Silenced voices.. If the press cannot tolerate scrutiny from the public—the so-called 5th estate—then it forfeits the moral authority to demand accountability from government. You cannot demand accountability and suppress it at the same time. You cannot preach transparency and practice exclusion. You cannot preach Democracy be a "Sankaraist" As for the lack of voices, i am very far from being anything in the APC, but if i am unavailable i have enough intellectual Nigerian friends on X who support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and believe he is doing an amazing job. He is a Lion among men. And as for the challenge from uncle Ilemona, i am tempted but no thanks. I may be willing to attend if you can find a neutral ground and a time convenient for me cause i run a tight schedule.
