Your eyes can't perceive the difference between 60 and 120. Only if you slow it down like this.

People are actually not seeing a difference?

People are problematic. They are comparing this video FPS instead of understand the concept. Tired to explain to haters. 😒🙄🤨

Smoothness makes a huge difference, especially in fast-moving visuals.

And even if you can't see it, you can definitely feel the difference

I don’t play games at 20% speed homie

Watching this on my 60hz phone screen

Once you see the difference, 30 FPS feels so different!

The people still on about how you cant see a difference between 60, 120, and even 240 have really bad eyes. Going from a 60hz to 144hz monitor was night and day obvious for me.

tecnicamente é a mesma coisa ja que ambos ficam no mesmo lugar ao mesmo tempo

That’s incorrect; even modern films are shot at 24 fps. You’ve depicted 30 fps this way here, but in reality, it would be smoother and the frame transitions would be imperceptible. What you’ve shown here as 30 fps looks more like the 10 fps range to me.

If you have to slow a video down to show the difference in framerate, then there's no effective difference in framerate. If you slowed the video down enough, even 240 fps would look choppy. You don't play something in slowed down time. You play it in real time.

You only notice it when you go slow motion. 30fps is definitely felt, but after a certain point the human eye can't distinguish the difference between 60fps and 120+.

your video about frame rates is 24 fps

The only one that looks different is 30 to me. I dont see a difference between 60 and 120.

You basically converted 120FPS into 60 and 60 into 30 when you slowed it down by 50%.

I had a real human being try to argue with me that higher FPS sees the future

Having ti slow it down just to see it proves how fuckung stupid needing 120 frames is. Tbh as long as thr rate is stable its fine no one need it more than 60

We're from a generation that dropped tens of thousands of ridiculous dollars because people kept pushing tech recommendations on us. We're that generation that thought using nickel water-cooling components shipped from the other side of the world would somehow let us set up a base on the moon. Ever since I realized how much others have manipulated what we "should" pick, I only trust my own experience. So, I fully validate the accuracy of the content and info you shared, and I tip my hat to it. But I gotta say, at 60 fps and above, everything feels pretty much the exact same to me. Please let me say to hell with 120-240 fps :)

Ngl, until its slowed down I dint see any difference and even then 60 and 120 and damn near identical Im so glad I cant tell 'cos it keeps me happier

I'm quite used to above 120fps in many of my games. It is a bit hard for my eyes to focus on 60fps or less in certain high movement games. Especially if it is 2d slower games are fine but fast paced games I need higher then 60fps.

I keep seeing people do this, seemingly unaware of just what the Twitter video compression does to resolution and frame rate. You e picked possibly the worst platform on which to make the argument.

The jump from 30 to 120 FPS is seriously noticeable.

It's exactly the same. I heard so from people with ps5 pros.

Why is 120fps slower than the lower fps? Or he just didn’t time it correctly.

Memory market said no to fps

30:ガクガクしてるね 60:滑らか 120:ん?なんか変わった?

The more FPS, the more overhead you'll use. I never recommend maxing out.

Sure when you slow it down to 6fps it becomes noticeable. But then it’s no longer 30fps

Fiquei curiosa, com 30 fps parece que a imitar formação chega primeiro, tipo o alvo chega mais rápido, entao menos fps seria mais vantajoso?

Playing on 60/75fps or below for decades then switch to higher I could really say there is a huge difference specially on the animation, you would notice this mostly when playing fps games.

A major part is if the engine is tied to the framerate. Which a lot of modern games are tbf

120fps is like unplayable
