Contrary to misleading reports by NTV, TV47, and Citizen TV, Jesus Winner Ministry was not gifted 20 acres of KDF land by President William Ruto. The facts are clear: KDF retains its 17 acres, which are already developed with houses and a boundary wall. Jesus Winner Ministry lawfully purchased only 3 acres from Uchumi Supermarket to build a church. This legal transaction began in 2018, underwent rigorous vetting by parliamentary committees and the courts, and the title deed was officially released in February 2023. President Ruto’s role was simply to eliminate cartels obstructing the process. Facts matter more than sensational headlines!

Drama erupted in Matuu town on Saturday night at around 7PM after officers attached to Matuu Police Station allegedly harassed and forcefully arrested a KDF officer whose vehicle had developed a mechanical problem along the road. According to reports, the situation reportedly escalated the moment the officers realized the vehicle belonged to a KDF officer after he showed them his ID and requested them to help him. Despite the officer calmly agreeing to accompany them to the station, the police allegedly turned aggressive, handcuffed him in public and threatened him by saying he was “about to see something he has never seen before.” It is further alleged that after the arrest, the officers went ahead and slapped him with questionable and non-existent charges, including “resisting arrest” and “blocking the way,” despite claims that his vehicle had simply stalled due to mechanical failure. Witnesses described the incident as a disturbing display of intimidation, abuse of power and rogue conduct by officers who appeared determined to punish rather than assist a stranded motorist. The officers stole 10k from him and hid his car keys. The KDF officer is still held at matuu Police station.

The High Court has agreed with our submissions that the accused is undeserving of bail as he could interfere with witnesses and is a flight risk. Glad to have argued this application alongside Wanjira Maina. Another win for the rule of law even if it's partial as we are yet to hear the main charge. We shall be there for justice!

They are currently paying people to attend to try and fill the stadium with rent a crowd. Some of the ordinary people have been sitting and waiting since 8am, with no food and water.
