Veterans should get the same care no matter which Veterans Affairs facility they visit. Right now, that’s not always the case, but we’re working to bring consistency across the system. One standard: better outcomes for every Veteran.

Hear how deregulation, tax cuts, and federalism were the keys of Trumponomics but how protectionism and immigration policies got in the way of a pro-growth future. #economy #econtwitter

@DeptVetAffairs VERY true. More physicians and less Nurse Practitioners.

please work with the Pittsburgh VA to get the veteran directed program up and running there. I’m told it’s t not offered to my husband because of where we live. The program was designed for people in rural areas because of the limited help. My husband’s a quadriplegic, blind, has partially paralyzed diaphragm, dysphagia, and many other issues secondary to his combat spinal cord injury. Please we need this help!

I hope all the administrative positions that don't exist in the civilian market equivalent are being looked at. The VA is very top heavy with healthcare professionals that don't actually provide care to our Veterans. A lot of those individuals could be placed back in direct patient care which has been understaffed for years. More leadership positions and all the extra meetings does not lead to efficiency. If anything it degrades it.

@DeptVetAffairs As a vet and VA-user, I see Doug Collins has brought a much-needed “veterans first” approach 👍

@DeptVetAffairs Veterans are being stuck with bills from community care providers due to VA Medical Centers refusing to backdate authorizations for providers they already saw under a VA authorization but the previous authorization expired.

@DeptVetAffairs success story: Durham VA Medical Center is right across the street from Duke University Medical School. =Great source of fresh talent!

@DeptVetAffairs 100% P&T, over 2 years still waiting on a doctor's appointment, and ZERO VA employees have been fired. Why hasn't Ruth been fired? Ruth W. Mustard, DNP, RN, NEA-BC Associate Director, Patient Care/Nursing Services...
