Inflation cut in half from the Biden era. So why aren't Republicans running away with the midterms? Here are the... show more

If the Save America Act passes, Republican citizens will actually show up to vote :/

Immigration. I don't care about your stock market. I want jobs for young American men. Not foreigners. I don't care about your assets.

A 401k doesn't mean anything to people who's 10% contribution is $20 per paycheck.

@VDHanson Because the middle class is struggling.

All BS I hope. Dems are awful.

@VDHanson VDH, How many Americans are reeling in dinero from the stock market ?

@VDHanson Gas prices, plus grocery prices, plus over taxed and we don’t get crap for it. They give it to foreigners who hate us. The government hates the middle class, they just want us to sacrifice our children for their wars. Fck both parties.

VDH tying himself in knots trying to convince us that Trump's economy is actually specular despite what you and your wallet are feeling. So sad that he sold his soul just to be able to get regular appearances on Fox News.

@VDHanson Because they do not want to win the entire congress is a joke

which metric do you think resonates most with swing voters

These stats don't account for how many families now need two incomes and 50-hour weeks just to stay afloat. What metric would you use to measure actual living standard resilience?

the persistant problem no one addresses: inflation might be low BUT! uNDER BIDEN THE COST OF LIVING ABSOLUTELY SKYROCKETED and the actual inflation impact was 30% not whatever low number they are telling you.

@VDHanson No one cares about stats. It’s money out of pocket due to inflation caused by the totolly discretionary war.

@VDHanson What you’re missing is the younger generation believes that the debt, social security payouts, home ownership impossibility are creating a we vs them mentality. The result is the DSA!!! Growing every day with no answer by this administration.

INFLATION CUT in HALF from the BIDEN ERA! What caused that inflation? Runaway spending and 30 MILLION ILLEGALS driving up the DEMAND for HOUSING and GROCERIES and GAS!! While the supply stayed the same. If you understand economics even slightly you can see why PRICES ROSE.

Daily Signal & VDHanson thank you for spreading the truth ❤️

Regular, hard working folks don't understand Wall Street. And hard working folks despise those people that won't work.

Joker.

The morality of socialism is self-sacrifice for a higher cause. The morality of capitalism is rational self-interest. D's sell their morality while R's try unsuccessfully to embrace both moralities, molding some kind of a confusing, mongrel blend.

VDH, one other aspect of the economic progress that’s being undersold, is the upside from the agreements signed over last year. There’s been talk about them, but I feel there’s an opportunity to show a forecast (graphically) of those benefits, in terms of key economic metrics, going from 2026 to 2030. These types of agreements can create tremendous upside, but often take several years to build. Showing the public a picture of that evolution would be very helpful. The obvious takeaway would be to not do anything to derail this progess. One of the graphs they should create is depicting affordability, which is simply average income, less average expense, for the average American. Highlight how the gap between those two will widen over the next four years. It would also be interesting to see what happened from 2010 to 2026. Up till now, this whole affordability discussion has been very opaque. Show people what it looks like and how it’s changed over the last few decades. And what’s in store for the future if we remain on track.

VDH is smart and articulate but he has the charisma of a dead squirrel. His recommended messaging would fall flat.

Spout all the economic wins you can use statistics to manipulate people with. We all feel the same shit...and none of it is a win.

Raw numbers don't capture the pain of higher prices. Why would voters credit the GOP for a recovery they still blame for inflation?

@VDHanson All true

Maybe they are and the polls are lying like they ALWAYS do.

@VDHanson I pray Republicans will listen before it’s to late!

all of these "economic wins" are predicated on more trillions in borrowed $$. someone will either have to pay back that money (and suffer the austerity needed to do so) or the system will collapse (more likely). that's not a 'Win the Midterms' message - that's willful ignorance.
