Bhai Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale appeared at Sri Akal Takht Sahib and sought forgiveness; his pardon was accepted by the Akal Takht Sahib. He is now permitted to hold religious congregations and preach Sikhism once again. Directives from Sri Akal Takht Sahib: •Dhadrianwale must preach in accordance with Sikh and Panthic Maryada (code of conduct). •No personal remarks should be made against any Sikh organization or group. •Dhadrianwale’s apology has been formally accepted by Sri Akal Takht Sahib. •Efforts must be made to foster unity within the Khalsa Panth. •Any concerns related to preaching may be brought before Sri Akal Takht Sahib.

Supreme Court advocate and BJP leader H S Phoolka recalled an incident from the Bargari Samagam, alleging that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann attended the event in an intoxicated state and was subsequently removed from the stage. Phoolka claimed that Mann later left the samagam while invoking his (Phoolka's) name. Phoolka also referred to a video in which Mann allegedly said, "Raaj Karega Khalsa, Marasi Rahye Na Koi." He urged the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib to take cognizance of and act on such videos as well. Furthermore, Phoolka appealed to AAP MLAs, stating that they are aware of the authenticity of the video and should comply with the directions issued by Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
