Here is the full video of the conversation between JP Nadda and Sonam Wangchuk that led to the end of Sonam Wangchuk's hunger strike. -The government has said that no action will be taken against students who joined the peaceful protest on July 20. -It also assured a proper policy on the NEET and other paper leak issues. -The families of students who died by suicide over the NEET paper leak issue will also receive compensation.

#WATCH | Delhi: Union Minister JP Nadda says, "...Keeping the students’ future in mind, we assured on behalf of the Government of India that the cases registered against the protesting students would be withdrawn and that no harsh action would be taken against them in the future. In line with this, we also consulted with the governments in states ruled by the Bharatiya Janata Party, and we are now fulfilling that assurance. We welcome the decision announced by the CJP spokesperson at a press conference to call off the protest scheduled for September 5. The brutal and cruel attitude of this Modi government was witnessed in the national capital yesterday. Students from all over the country are here to protest over the NEET and CBSE exams. The students of India have genuine issues. They are holding a peaceful protest over those issues. Is this the way to deal with a peaceful protest? This government is scared and completely insensitive. We are going to raise this issue again in the House today. We have already moved an adjournment motion condemning the lathi charge, asking for the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan and asking for a clear-cut action on NEET and CBSE exam leaks. Modi is totally anti-student and anti-youth. He does not understand the psychology and pain of the students and youth of this country. He is completely responsible for yesterday's incident. Whenever there is a public agitation and people are expressing their sentiments, the government should call them and try to address their concerns. Instead, it resorts to lathi charges and tear gas.
