Can someone please explain to me how short-term, temporary Obamacare subsidies passed during COVID suddenly became untouchable? Not a single Republican voted to extend these COVID subsidies in 2021 or 2022. We all recognized that Obamacare is a total disaster. Premiums have skyrocketed because of the ACA. But now we have four “moderate” Republicans who are siding with the Democrats to continue funding this miserable failure? If you want to show the public you’re serious about healthcare, stop wasting taxpayer money on Obamacare handouts to big insurance companies.
