Love the show, but it's kinda a bad take. Was the ref's action wrong...wasn't great. Should he have been touched by the player...NO! It's where it started. I think the refs are just done with being harassed/touched mult times/game. Stop that, and this wouldn't happen.

To say the guy will never ref again is absolutely irresponsible before having a full investigation. Robertson grabbed the ref and it's reflex to try to get their grip off. We've all done it. They say you can't touch a ref but they're not acknowledging he was grabbed

I don’t know. Looks like the referee was just shrugging off the player grabbing at him and the player is acting as if the ref shot him

Gotta be honest, these footballers deserve it. He gets up in his face and leans in trying to intimidate the ref and possibly lays his own hands on the ref and the ref does what he did

Amazed at all the Robertson haters in the replies. Let me ask you this: IF Andy touches the ref and he's shaking him off, why is his elbow anywhere near Andy's chin?

FIFA and everyone on down needs to make it clear - put your hand on a ref, in any manner, and it’s a card. Simple. No room for subjectivity here, just don’t do it.
