VIDEO | Operation Sindoor: Defence expert Nitin Gokhale (Nitin A. Gokhale) says, "I think the Pahalgam attack was a barbaric attack, it was on innocent civilians, tourists and it was designed to create communal divide in India by targeting Hindu tourists specifically. So, I think... India's answer, India's response has been well thought out, very well calibrated... to target nine terrorist camps in Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir as well as in mainland Pakistan. Bahawalpur and Muridke are the headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammad and Lashkar-e-Taiba, which was India has intending for some time... that terror headquarter must be targeted and that has been done. India has done it in a very coordinated manner by targeting with missile strikes. India has made it very clear that it has struck what it wanted too, now Pakistan has to respond. If it responds militarily, India is ready." #OperationSindoor (Full video available on PTI Videos -

#WATCH | Bradford, UK | Mahmood Kashmiri, Chairman of Jammu Kashmir National Independence Alliance (JKNIA), UK says, "...Pakistan has deployed thousands of its forces into the Pakistan-administered areas of Jammu and Kashmir, and these forces have begun a massacre there... A large number of people and significant quantities of weaponry have entered the Pakistan-administered region of Jammu and Kashmir from Pakistan in private vehicles. They intend to carry out a massacre and pin the blame on the Jammu and Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee. We fear the situation is about to deteriorate drastically for our Kashmiri youth...We want Pakistan to withdraw its forces from our region immediately, as the people of Jammu and Kashmir deserve to live in peace. If Pakistan believes it can subjugate Kashmiris through force and coercion, it is mistaken; even if Pakistan sends all its forces into Kashmir, it will still fail to subjugate the people of Jammu and Kashmir..."

#WATCH | #OperationSindoor | Lt Gen KJS Dhillon (Retd) says, "Just like the PM said a few days back that he will give the free hand to forces and the way forces have coordinated - from Bahawalpur to Muzaffarabad Kotli - to hit nine targets throughout and that too with a precision that no civilian casualty occurred. Our forces are so capable that they can enter anywhere to bring the perpetrators to justice. It is not an act of war... The ball is now in the hands of Pakistan, and if it does something now, India will have every right to take it as an act of war and then to retaliate accordingly..."

Pakistan continues with its execrable and wanton campaign of targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure, especially in the states of Jammu & Kashmir and Punjab. There is also on its part, a consistent attempt to sow discord between communities in India. There has been a particular focus in its targeting of civilian infrastructure and the population in J&K and Punjab We have also observed overnight damage to property and injuries to civilians in Ferozepur and Jalandhar among other places Pakistani officials also continue to make ludicrous claims about India firing missiles towards Sri Amritsar Sahib. These lame attempts to divide India are doomed to failure - Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri during the Press Briefing on #OperationSindoor Ministry of Defence, Government of India Randhir Jaiswal PMO India Ministry of Information and Broadcasting #IndiaFightsPropaganda
