Sajeeb, you are not the correct messenger for these types of events. If you care about your party, secede control or anoint a trusted messenger. In the capacity you speak, it is impossible to discern whether this is propaganda, intended to cause deep division and hatred, or genuinely raise awareness about injustices occurring. The more you try to push a narrative, the worse Awami League will be. There are many questions that need to be addressed and you are clearly incapable of raising them or even being open to discussing them.

#The glorious history of Bangladesh and the Bangladesh Awami League. Note: I am a minor supporter of the Awami League. But in the current reality and overall context of Bangladesh, whenever I sit down to write about independence, liberation war, history-tradition, development and law and order, the topic of Awami League comes up again and again. And that is why, perhaps, a kind of liking and interest in the party is gradually arising without my knowledge. Bangladesh Awami League—a name, a history. One of the largest political organizations in the world. This party has several crores of supporters and has a golden history. As an organization that gave birth to a country, its pulse is connected with the common people of the country. Various anti-liberation forces in Bangladesh have made various efforts for the last 55 years to stop or destroy the Bangladesh Awami League, which believes in independence, liberation war, free intellect, non-communal consciousness, development and creativity. In continuation of this, the architect of independent Bengal, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, was killed along with his family. The Bangladesh Awami League has been banned at various times and initiatives have been taken to suspend or limit its political activities. Many believe and politically assess that after the political changes that took place in the context of the student movement in August 2024, the anti-liberation forces united to bring down the then Sheikh Hasina government. Later, the activities of Bangladesh Awami League, one of the oldest and most traditional political organizations in the country, were banned. At the same time, allegations of arrest, harassment, and torture of thousands of Awami League leaders and activists have also come to the fore. There may be political differences, but violence, oppression, killing, or extrajudicial harassment against leaders and activists of any political party can never be acceptable in a democratic society. These incidents are condemnable, inhumane, and contrary to the rule of law and human rights. History testifies that no political organization can be permanently erased through administrative or repressive measures. Political ideologies can only be confronted through political and democratic processes. However, the history of Awami League is very long and deep; it cannot be easily erased. Tomorrow, June 23, is the 77th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Awami League. Warm greetings to the party's leaders, activists, supporters and well-wishers on this historic day. Joy Bangla. An extreme repression spree to stop people from offering tribute to founding father Bangabandhu Chain of events exposing sheer scale of regressive measures to — on August 13, a government order hurriedly issued scrapping public holiday on national mourning marking the anniversary of assassination of the father of the nation and his family members in 1975, August 15 — on August 14, veiled threats of mob violence from so called banner of anti discrimination alliance led public rally against any one dare to pay tribute in memory of father of the nation - on august 14 attack on Awami League rallies in different places across the country — on August 14 evening, unarmed cultural activists were assaulted for defying the mob as they converged to pay tribute to memory of founding father - early hours on August 15, supporters of same mob occupied the road surrounding the residence — in some places midnight rallies brought under the banner of anti discrimination protesters with chants of mob violence against anyone dare to defy and offer towards dhanmondi 32 many more. Such repression is nothing new against Awami League. Following the brutal assassination in 1975 the killers employed similar repressive measures. But the ideals of Mujib overpowered all the hurdles time and again. #15August #Dhanmondi32 #Bangladesh #AwamiLeague #SaveBangladesh #AllEyesOnBangladesh #FredoomOfSpeech UN Human Rights Council Amnesty International Human Rights Watch UN Human Rights European Union in Bangladesh U.S. Embassy Dhaka Volker Türk Former UN Special Rapporteur FoAA rights Assistant Secretary for DRL Sajeeb Wazed Ministry of Foreign Affairs Chief Adviser of the Government of Bangladesh
