I observed the political parties very closely, and I found that Trinamool Congress practices inclusive secular politics. My ideology is inclusive and secular. When I joined the Bharatiya Janata Party, I was made to understand that I can work in the party promoting the ideology of both Sarat Chandra Bose and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, which is inclusive and secular. India, as per the Constitution, is a sovereign, democratic, socialist, secular republic. So my work is based on the constitution of India. But it seems in practice, BJP has formed the government at the Centre, they have taken oath under the constitution of India. But in practice, they oppose the constitution of India. And they oppose the secular, inclusive fabric of our nation. So one cannot possibly work with an organisation who is practising divisive vote-bank politics using religion in political practices.
