@Javedakhtarjadu It’s good to be illogical sometimes with crooks. Also I don’t agree that Pakistani people are as innocent and docile as being portrayed always in India. After all their establishment is also part of their society. They haven’t come from Mars, have they ?

#WATCH | Delhi: On the India-Pakistan match in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 today, Congress leader Mumtaz Patel says, "I pray that India wins this match, but politics should be done on this issue. As a member of the opposition, as a Muslim woman, I want to ask today that when you say there's no tolerance for terrorism. We know that Pakistan is responsible for all terror attacks on Indian soil. Then why is cricket treated like a business? Where you ban Pakistani artists, Pakistani channels on YouTube, where you ban the media and social media handles of these artists. You're saying there shouldn't be any business. Why is there always leniency on cricket matches with Pakistan? Because it's for your benefit, there's profit, so there shouldn't be this selective outrage...Yesterday, February 14th, we marked seven years of the Pulwama attack. Last year, we faced terrorism in Pahalgam. So if we could show pictures of terrorists in the stadium and then play the match with Pakistan, it would have been a tribute..." On India-US trade agreement, she says, "I would like to ask Amit Shah and the government that the recent trade deal, in which you have bowed down to America, why was that done? Is there any pressure on you due to the Epstein file? As Rahul ji was saying, someone is choking you, somewhere someone has caught your nerve. Why are we repeatedly bowing down to America? The trade deal that has taken place is going to harm our farmers. So first the government should answer on the decisions it has taken now, do not ask questions on what has already happened..."

#WATCH | Goa: Former MoS MEA, MJ Akbar says, "Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is worried about every single drop of water on the Indus, saying it is a red line. The message from India is different. Every single drop of Indian blood lost to terrorism sponsored by Pakistan needs accountability; Pakistan has to give an answer. Blood and water will not flow together. The full truth about Pakistan has been exposed by a very major Pakistani leader, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, head of the Jamait, who has told the Pakistani government, the prime minister, as well as the real chief of Pakistan, their field marshal, Asim Munir, who is the head of the armed forces, he has told them to first gargle before they say anything because he hints that the voices have become unclean with the untruth. The truth about Pakistan, which he has exposed himself, is that more than 80% of Balochistan today is out of control and governance of Islamabad. 80% of Balochistan is virtually independent. It is free. It is certainly outside the control of Pakistan. In the last 24 hours, Pakistan has bombed Pakistan in Balochistan. The fact of the matter is that Pakistan is crumbling on its Independence Day. It has become what I have described in my book as a jelly state, which will neither be stable nor will it disappear. The truth about Pakistan is known to those who have suffered the brutality of the Pakistan army in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, in Khyber and Pakhtunkhwa, and in Sindh. This truth is known to the Pakistani people. Pakistan is on the edge."

#WATCH | Mumbai: Lyricist Javed Akhtar said, "...Sanjay Lele, Atul Mone & Hemant Joshi from this state were looking for a moment of peace and happiness. Perhaps they should not have done that. In search of that, they visited Pahalgam. They were mercilessly shot there. We should not forget this. This is nothing ordinary. Enemies and those who wish us evil, have their eyes on Mumbai. I went to Lahore for a literary festival...They were asking me good questions and I was answering...A woman got up and told me that Indians consider them (Pakistanis) terrorists...I told her that I am a resident of Mumbai and I have seen my city burning. Those who came to burn it did not come from Sweden or Egypt; those people are roaming freely in your city even today...We warmly welcomed Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Mehdi Hassan and Faiz Ahmad Faiz...Even if the biggest of the Indian writers or Indian artists visited Pakistan, they were never invited on PTV. Lata Mangeshkar was undoubtedly the most popular Indian personality in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. But you did not hold any functions for her...It is a good thing that I came back the next day because people were stunned for a while. By the time they reacted, I was back in India. What happened in Pahalgam is something which keeps happening after a few days. It is sad. What has Mumbai or this country done to you? Be it the Congress Government or the BJP's, it always tried to have good relations with the neighbours. Atal ji (Atal Bihari Vajpayee) visited the location which is called Nishan-e-Pakistan...He gave his respect to that place...The day after he returned, that place was washed and cleaned, that Atal Bihari Vajpayee had come here. We went there for friendship. But a few days later, Kargil War started...When they could not accept their own (slain) jawans, who would they own? Someone who is laying down their life for you by mistake, you say they are not yours when they die..."(01.05.2025)
