On the day that marks the end of a month of sacrifice, it was fitting that we joined those who sacrifice to keep us safe at the COAS Sallah Luncheon for Troops in the Field of 2 Division Area of Responsibility in Igbeti, Olorunsogo LGA. As I said in my remarks, their welfare is our shared responsibility and we will continue to do all we can to support them to carry out their duties. May their sacrifices never be in vain and may Nigeria continue to find peace through their service to the nation.

TROOPS OF OPERATION HADIN KAI CRUSH ISWAP ROADBLOCK, FREES 53 HOSTAGES AND RECOVERS 8 VEHICLES IN BORNO STATE In continuation of the massive onslaught against JAS/ISWAP in the North East region, Sector 2 troops of 135 Special Forces Battalion under Operation HADIN KAI dismantled JAS/ISWAP terrorists road block mounted along road Buratai–Kamuya, in Biu Local Government Area of Borno State rescuing 53 innocent civilians and recovering 8 vehicles on Wednesday, 24 June 2026. The encounter took place when troops deployed at Dutse Kura sighted terrorists blocking the highway through surveillance cameras. A Quick Reaction Force (QRF) team immediately mobilized to the scene and pursued the insurgents toward the Mangari–Dora general area, made contact and engaged the terrorists in a firefight, forcing them to withdraw in confusion. During the operation, troops successfully rescued 53 innocent civilians and also recovered 8 vehicles seized by the terrorists. The troops further advanced to clear the insurgents’ withdrawal route, dominated the area, and conducted further searches, though no additional contact was made. All rescued persons, recovered vehicles and properties were safely moved to Buratai town.The rescued civilians are currently undergoing documentation and medical evaluations. This isn't just in social media. This is happening in the analog and real world too. Too many people are keeping up with the Joneses and worried about what people think about them. They worry about what people think about how much money they have, what school they go to, or even worse, what school their kids go to, and on and on and on … I will continue to make content with the hope it breaks someone out of the hamster wheel and that’s that ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Our, Shaikh, the ʿAllāmah, Rabeeʿ Ibn Hādī Al-Madkhalī (may Allāh preserve him) said in some powerful words: "The Salafis in the east of the world and its west, the Arabs and non-Arabs—all of them are as if they are one family. The Indian [Salafi] is united with the Saudi, with the Yemeni, and so on, with all races and all nations. They are as brothers as if nurtured at the hands of one scholar—upon one manhaj, one ʿaqeedah—and the way they deal with events and tribulations, subhānallāh, [even though] one is in the east, one in the west, and the other in the Hijāz, [regardless] their view is the same. Our, Shaikh, the ʿAllāmah, Rabeeʿ Ibn Hādī Al-Madkhalī (may Allāh preserve him) said in some powerful words: "The Salafis in the east of the world and its west, the Arabs and non-Arabs—all of them are as if they are one family. The Indian [Salafi] is united with the Saudi, with the Yemeni, and so on, with all races and all nations. They are as brothers as if nurtured at the hands of one scholar—upon one manhaj, one ʿaqeedah—and the way they deal with events and tribulations, subhānallāh, [even though] one is in the east, one in the west, and the other in the Hijāz, [regardless] their view is the same. Why? Because their manhaj is precise and proper—all of them—and they take from the same fountain. May Allah bless you. The world sees what Russia is doing and how it tries to take advantage, while global leaders focus on ending the war in the Middle East. Chances are good that the deal will be effective there. And the greater the peace and security in one region, the more opportunities it brings to everyone in the world. Reports are coming in of a terrifying explosion after a U.S. Air Force B-52 Stratofortress reportedly crashed at Edwards Air Force Base. It’s one year on since the Dublin Riots. I still remember how so many carried themselves that night and still fear that they’re still among us. Even the week after when some crotchety loser start hassling my partner and daughter “are ye fooken ukranzians?”. That night, I had to leave my daughter aline at home. The things I saw still make me sick. Some loser on Patrick Street trying to creep up on a Spanish speaking couple. Of course as soon as I shouted at him the coward sped off at speed. Bigots are not good when the numbers are even fractionally against them. Then there’s certain “media” outlets that did their best to trigger it. They’ve never had to account for their role in it. On the plus side, it showed up the ugliness that permeates the city and the beauty that’s in it too. The way bystanders dealt with the attacker in Parnell Square is the Dublin I know. Many of the political parties have Dublin plans in their manifestos which is positive but what we’re really missing is an analysis of who was involved and how they got their in their lives. How do we get those lost to that type of thinking back into normality? A question for every country but in a time when we have this section collaborating with loyalist terrorists and other miscreants and with Americans mainstreaming bigotry and irrationality, we need to mover faster on it.

Brigadier General Muhammed Uba, Commander of the Nigerian Army’s 25 Task Force Brigade in Damboa, Borno State, was ambushed and captured by Terrorists on 15 November 2025.
