This belongs in the National Recording Registry. He’s in there with his broadcast of last game at the Polo Grounds - but this needs to be in there also, in my opinion.

He was an American treasure.

Vin Scully was more than a HOF play-by-play announcer. He expertly wove words together & painted a picture with them. In a moment when our nation was in deep shock, grief & anger, his words resonated a calm & encouraged us to continue as one. Vin was truly a national treasure. 🇺🇸
