Bill Sheedy is looking shady. Of course he would never admit that VISA makes more money when the consumers are getting screwed over by inflation because that would imply a predatory and adversarial relationship with the consumer. And that can't be right, can it?

When people are strapped for cash the credit card becomes a means of survival and with inflation under Biden millions are in credit card debt paying upwards of 30% interest. It's about time someone holds them accountable.

Not having the issuing banks there show how ignorant we as #MAGA are on how the Visa/MC works They make the same no matter what rates the issuing banks charge In fact if we lower rates I'm sure Visa MC won't mind at all Nobody asked the right questions at all

For these guys, a senate hearing is the equivalent of getting detention - mild annoyance for a few hours. I wouldn't call it being held accountable.

They actually pay their potential competitors (Apple) NOT to compete against them. The swipe fees (2.95%) add up. In Europe and Canada there are more networks competing with Visa and MC, as a result swipe fees are much lower, saving those consumers lots of money. The Credit Card Competition Act (CCCA) would end this duopoly.

What is the difference between this visa and Jobseeker visa? Opportunity card will be determined using a point based system which calculates your Age, Work experience duration, Education qualification, Ability to speak English or/and German. Opportunity card visa duration will be longer than jobseeker visa.(currently jobseeker visa is 6month). With the opportunity card, you can work for 20hours as you still continue to look for a qualified job. (which doesn't exist in jobseeker visa).
