visionOS 2.2 now also sends audio playback from the Mac directly through the Apple Vision Pro’s speaker/audio system The display also seems to be sharper than in previous version. Likely due to eye tracked foveated transport that was hinted by Apple developers to be integrated

Just got everything fired up! I knew about Ultrawide but not this! The USPs for Immersed are eroding quickly 😬

Both of these only with macOS 15.2 though right?

Love the new ultra-wide screen and audio output! Odd that you can't also use the Vision Pro for mic input, tho.

😲 @ShinyQuagsire does it means that maybe we can also have eye tracked foveated transport for ALVR???? 🤞

What resolution are you rocking? I think we only have 2 options when using wide & ultrawide now right?

You actually get a different set of choices for resolution once you set the Virtual Display to a different Wide Mode First impressions: I am happy with Wide (not UltraWide) default resolution for now

Coming in visionOS 27: A new power wheelchair control feature leverages the precision eye-tracking system on Apple Vision Pro to offer a responsive input method for compatible alternative drive systems.

Siri doesn’t listen to words, it listens for frequencies. In order to stop millions of Apple devices from activating during a keynote, Apple cut those frequencies from the live audio. We put that audio into a spectrogram in order to visualize the alteration.

Managed to film at the Shahran oil depot in Western Tehran that was targeted by airstrikes last night. The oil still seems to be burning. We saw flames coming from some of the destroyed oil storage tanks. Also destroyed tanker trucks outside the gate. Sorry for audio issues, was windy CNN CNN International Claudia Otto

More Wan 2.2 tests on Here I wanted to compare it directly to Veo 3 and also see how tight into the eye I could get with complex zooms. Again I’m really surprised by what Wan 2.2 can do. The prompts are the same across models, so Wan seems to be able to do more with the text, at least with camera moves and optics. 🧵

Let me know if you need it. - PR for UI:

Wow such a messed up move from Apple. Starting with Mac Sequoia, it is IMPOSSIBLE to run apps that are NOT downloaded through Apple's AppStore, unless you jump through hoops in the privacy settings. Nobody seems to be talking about it, please share so more people know about it.

“They (Apple) haven’t really invented anything great in a while,” Mark Zuckerberg said. “Steve Jobs invented the iPhone, and now they’ve basically just been sitting on it for 20 years. Year after year, I’m not even sure they’re selling more iPhones anymore. Part of the reason is that each new generation doesn’t improve much, so people upgrade more slowly.” Zuckerberg also criticized Apple for building products like AirPods while “severely restricting” how third-party devices can connect to the iPhone ecosystem. According to him, Apple is “squeezing” developers through the App Store’s 30% fee and what he called “arbitrary” rules, instead of focusing on real innovation. He predicted that Apple would eventually be overtaken by competitors due to a lack of creativity.
