@IHHen @WCKitchen Thanks for fixing the pita machine! Now, as a huge personal favor, could you send some WCK to Afrin and Aleppo and feed them? The family of a very dear friend lives there but there is no word on them for many days. If you know your ancient history, Aleppo was on the "Spice Road".

WCK's Sam is checking in from an IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation location in Syria. In partnership with WCK, İHH chefs cooked these 20k meals in Türkiye that were driven across the border. The hot, nourishing meals of stew, rice, & fresh bread will be delivered to 61 different locations. #ChefsForSyria

We reached World Central Kitchen a million hot meals today! Today we will do 105k hot meals! 13k food kits total but everyday now we will do 5k, 50k meals more a day! Thanks to our 108 restaurant partners! For a total of 155k meals a day between hot and food kits! 167 tortillerias partners that we gave over 100 tones of corn with help of Maseca plus many water partners and 5 water trucks! #ChefsForMexico we will stay next to the people of Acapulco at least until the end of December..

Today I visited many kitchens of World Central Kitchen in Gaza. This one is in Rafah! This one is with our great partner Anera doing thousands of meals a day…plus delivering our food kits to thousands of families a day. Situation in the south is tense with thousands leaving in temporary tent “cities” and the frontlines less than 6 km but real crisis is in the north where people are leaving in terrible conditions, surrounded by fighting, no water and no food and barely enough working hospitals….#ChefsForGaza but more humanitarian aid must be coming in, We can not stop helping the people of Gaza…WCK and partners we’ve already done and deliver 12 million meals…

Today we arrived To 4 million meals in Valencia World Central Kitchen with the help of hundreds of volunteers, chefs, restaurants, drivers etc…we keep delivering hot meals and sandwiches but also food boxes door to door and also helping open fruit shops, markets to expedite the local economy recovery…#ChefsForValencia we keep doing 18k meals already made a day plus over 100k meals through the food boxes…so people that can cook at home!

The Syrian Government begins its second phase of its war against the Kurdish People. Moussa al-Omar, a STG individual who belongs to the inner circle of Jolani is holding tribal councils across Raqqah and Deirezzor and explains to tribal leaders that Kurds are not native to Syria. This is precisely what we have warned about when we stated that a presidential decree is meaningless and can be revoked at any time. When the Syrian Government holds tribal meetings to align the tribes of Syria with the narrative that Kurds are not native to Syria - then this is why we do not trust the Syrian Government and why we can not simply trust the rhetoric of Jolani.

Today, families all over the world celebrate Eid al-Fitr. We are honored to have been part of that in Gaza. Through the holy month of Ramadan, World Central Kitchen made sure families could gather together to end a long day of fasting. Our teams on the ground delivered Ramadan boxes with enough halal staples to prepare 70 meals. We delivered tens of thousands of them, which meant millions of meals. Our work in Gaza is far from over. This is a season of renewal and rebirth across the world, across cultures and religions. Nowhere is that needed more than the Middle East right now.
