Patrick Mahomes on if he'll be ready to fully participate in team drills at the start of training camp: "I think if I can continue to do stuff the right way, that's the hope for me at least. All I can do is execute this next checkpoint of getting that cutting, being able to protect myself, prove to Julie, Rick, and Dr. Cooper that I can protect myself, then they'll let me go out there and be a part of the team drills."

Opus 4.5 (new model from Anthropic) can do something no model could do until now: It can close the design loop. This is (in my testing) the first model that can reliably do the visual loop of Generate Code ⇛ Render ⇛ Look at it ⇛ Improve. Step 3 (Visual critique) has been a real problem for so long. Models will be myopic or defensive when reviewing designs - it's been hard to tell if this has been a training or a vision problem. Opus 4.5 seems to have fixed it - it's not amazing, but it finally *can* do it. Claude models have historically (once again, in my testing) lagged behind in terms of visual understanding. Gemini for the last year has been the best - but there might be a new leader.

When I’m trying to improve the user experience of my applications, one of the most valuable things is being able to see an entire user flow as a storyboard. Not just one screen or screenshot at a time. This is something I love using the `/visual-plan` skill for. You can describe any flow you want, and the agent will look through your code and wireframe out a storyboard of what the flow looks like. Then you can visualize the steps in a simplified way and spot areas to improve. Recently, I found that in certain flows we were still asking for organizations, even though I thought I had gotten rid of that and made it automatic. A quick storyboard let me see all the different code paths in a simple, visual, intuitive way. Spot the areas of the flow I didn’t want. And have the agent fix it. Sign up, onboarding, and setup flows are usually some of the most important experiences in your app. And usually the least looked at. Especially because it can be hard to reproduce every flow, for every situation, for every user type, feature flag, or whatever else you have. The `/visual-plan` skill lets you visualize any part of your code. Either to understand the current state, plan out a new state, or recap updates that were made. I’m pretty addicted to this skill. I use it for a lot of other things too, so let me know if you want to see videos on those. And of course it’s all open source. You can grab it on my GitHub. I'll link to it in the thread. If you try it, let me know your feedback.

✨ Also made a new [ ✂️ Crop ] feature in Photo AI because before users would use the embedded Photopea editor for that I thought this would be very hard to do myself And again I asked Claude Code, and it one shotted it, then I tweaked it a bit and asked it to add iOS-style zoom crop, where if you zoom (on laptop just scrolling the mouse or trackpad) it would not scale the crop selection, but zoom the entire pic while the crop selection stayed the same Miraculously it just worked, again I would not be able to make this myself, it'd take me ages, probably a week of suffering, this took me 30 minutes and was a blast So in this case I'm something like 150x more efficient!

Gave UEFN its own blueprint graph. Python tool running inside the editor. Scans your level and parses your Verse code to draw a full visual map of your game logic. What it shows you: - Every device in your level as a node - Every @ editable reference between devices - Every event subscription and function call - Which Verse functions are actually being used vs sitting there doing nothing What it catches: - Broken connections where an @ editable points to nothing - Orphan devices with zero connections - Unassigned editables you forgot to wire up What you can do with it: - Click a node, and it selects the device in your viewport - Double-click to fly straight to it - Open the Verse file in VS Code with one button - Search and filter by device type - Zoom in and out - Add notes to any device - Export the whole graph as a doc

And today until lunch I did everything myself. I put on this shirt myself - no one helped me. These shorts - also myself. No one helps me record this video, I record it myself. Don't sleep on humanoid robots. Humanoid robots are going to play a profound role in our lives, and it will likely be sooner than most expect. I discuss some pivotal questions with jimmah in my effort to gain insight and clarity: - How do you evaluate Tesla's (and other companies') progress with humanoid robots? - Who will be the winner? Or will there be multiple big winners? - How long will it take until we see millions of humanoid robots produced annually? - What's harder for humanoid robots - the hardware of software? - How can we track progress across humanoid robot companies? - What's the next big milestones or demonstrations Tesla can show? Namping has many aspects to show you guys 🐰: I’m comfortable enough with you guys to be myself. And please, you don’t have to worry that I can’t be myself. In the end, that’s a philosophical question, isn’t it? What is the real “self”?, well, who knows? hahaha, so yeah it really depends on how I feel that day 🐰: I also hope that you can love me every day, no matter what my mood is that day, no matter which side of me you see. The Copilot is reading your code and giving you real-time comments. Or the chatbot is actually writing the code for you, and then you're giving it feedback. We had this old concept in the old days called pair programming, where you'd put two coders together in front of the same keyboard, and they could talk to each other and write code together. But now you're just going to have pair programming happening much more broadly, which is human plus machine. And by the way, this hasn't happened yet, but I think the same thing will happen for every other form of writing. I always thought I couldn’t do 100s. 85s felt difficult. I just kept telling myself once these 85s feel easy and I can do more than 8 for 3 sets then I’ll move to 100s. I kept telling myself it was too heavy.. so it was. If you tell yourself you can’t do something, you can’t. It’s ok to be uncomfortable. I’ve learned this so here I was last week stepping out of my comfort zone. I decided to go for 100s last week and hopefully press it a couple of times. I got it 7 times for the first set but I was gassed out and could not do more. Today I did 3 sets both incline and flat press on 100s. Moral of the story: be kind to yourself and believe in yourself. If you don’t, then you won’t. You are your worst enemy at times, but that’s a decision. Decide to be your number one cheerleader, instead.
