There are some agencies that are both unionized AND have civil service protections and they've negotiated a deal where people have to come in one day a MONTH. What they do is they come in on the last day of the month and the first day of the following month so they only have to be there for two days then they go move somewhere cheaper and keep the same paycheck. This is what DOGE aims to stop."
