This is how badly Indian Cricket was stuck in “Hero Worship” not too long ago. The legendary Sachin was clearly past his prime, many expected him to call it a day but he didn’t & nobody said a word to him until Sandeep Patil, the then Chairman of Selection Committee decided to soft land it to him.
