One of my favorite videos showing how toxic our diets are here in the USA Better do a parasite cleanse as well guys.

It's alarming how much our diets can impact our health!

At the end of the day it’s probably 95% of our physical and mental health. Totally amazing

The diets are bad yeah but they aren't gonna make you this tier of stupid 😭

It's not a one-day process.

Excess consumption of sugars is unhealthy in many ways but, when it comes to brain health, fat is the most important factor The human brain is, literally, heavy on fat - “When people say the brain is 60% fat, they’re referring to its dry weight. In reality, most of the brain is water by volume, but lipids are dominant in its structural makeup.” — Dr. Robert Heins, Neurologist. Of course dietary sugars are predominantly converted to triglycerides when excess carbohydrates are consumed. So reduction of sugar consumption is very important as far as brain health but, triglycerides do not cross the blood–brain barrier efficiently. So are less a factor More important are the types of fats we eat: The lipid profile of "the equivalent of a N.American diet," (SAD) is heavy on Omega 6, light on Omega 3. Brain cells, as w/ all cells, are surrounded by a membrane made largely of phospholipids. Neurons are coated w/ myelin - a fatty substance that forms an insulating layer around nerve fibers, helping to speed up the transmission of electrical signals in the nervous system. It is crucial for the proper functioning of neurons The foundation of every hormone & neurotransmitter are fats, in the case of hormones, cholesterol (~25% of the body’s cholesterol resides in the brain). Hormones & neurotransmitters contribute to the regulation of mood, appetite & memory Polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) make up ~30% of total fatty acids in adult human brains. DHA ( omega‑3 ≈90% of brain n‑3 PUFAs) along w/ Arachidonic acid (AA) an omega‑6, are the dominant long‑chain PUFAs in brain tissue Some fatty acids, especially omega-3's, have anti-inflammatory properties that help protect neurons from oxidative stress. DHA, an omega-3 fatty acid, is critical for brain development & cognitive function. Omega-6 fatty acids also play structural & signaling roles but, the 3:6 ratio in the human diet should much higher in 3's (1:1) than the SAD - ~1:15

Both fat and sugar are important, but they should be natural.

I dislike the term natural when used to mean healthy. There are plenty of things in & produced by nature that are not healthy Humans are a product of nature. Humans produce high fructose corn syrup (HFCS). HFCS is produced from elements naturally occurring in nature. No new chemical elements are created in the production of HFCS but, IMO HFCS are not healthy Also, seed oils are only healthy in very small quantities, therefore seeds are only healthy in very small quantities. This includes all grains. This is why IMO fat is the most important macro nutrient for contemporary civilization. Most food available are way too heavy on seeds. Whether it’s an “all natural” snack or a steak from an animal raised on a typical modern ranch. This is the primary reason why we have such a massive imbalance in fatty acids in our diets I prefer the term traditional. Picking an orange from a tree is natural & traditional. Raising a ruminant on grasses is natural & traditional But, even the term traditional is loaded. What is considered traditional today, has only been common for a very short period in terms of what humans evolved to eat & drink. Almonds are natural but, for how long have they been available shelled to eat by the handful? Even bread & all other grain products are only ~50K years old. That’s a blip on the evolutionary scale. On top of that, the grains (& most plants) humans raise for food now are quite different than those we 1st found growing wild & have hybridized

So basically yal are trying to compare rodents brains off of sugar to humans brains off sugar?? Yal do know we are light years smarter than rats right?

I can tell from not watching this video he’s spot on!

🤣😍

Human body needs sugar.

Yes, but not processed.

Well, yeah 😄

2nd Rat

cane sugar and high processed corn syrup, get beet sugar and you americans will be fine

Your suggestion is awesome, but that should not be processed like cane sugar.

2nd layer: Never drink fake/artificial sugar ever again.

You can Google type 3 diabetes

You know this explains police body cam videos

Sugar is like alcohol. Substance pretending to be food. No one should have more than 4 grams of sugar a day. Anything more is very risky. No one should consume more than an ounce of alcohol per week. Less is better. None is ideal. These things keep you from having real nutrients

🌟 It's so important to be mindful of what we put into our bodies, and your insights are a great reminder to prioritize real nutrients. Keep encouraging healthier choices! 🫶

🙌

Damn n I love me some cola

So then, you take in a ton of sucrolose, acesulfame, and apspartame?

You do realize mouse #2 was looking for a way out of the milk bath. Just a total different reaction. Doesn't mean he's on a sugar scrambled brain.

Noted I'll stay out a big vat of water

ok i get the message but look at those absolute cuties

Ok. Now try this experiment on 100 humans

Damn thats what happened to my memory

What if it’s just a dumber mouse

Guys we are not rats😭🙏 a burger is LITTARLY as big as a rat if you eat a human size burger you'll see similar effects😭✌🏻 Eat sugar just don't eat twice your weight lol

Why not only sugar , they also included pufa here
