Had something like that but with the little ones. About two dozen just appeared out of the blue right next to me, and killed me. I went back to collect my samples and they were gone.

On bug missions always take a mech and make sure one mech is ready in reserve for extract. Emancipater is squashing stalkers with the autocannons
