WALL STREET IS MOVING ONCHAIN The SEC just opened a regulated path for certain tokenized U.S. stocks to trade through onchain liquidity pools. Now look at $AXG Solowin has already been building around RWA tokenization, stablecoins and institutional digital-asset infrastructure. The SEC didn’t endorse AXG, but the market AXG...

long way from narrative to real volume tbh, need to see actual liquidity come in before getting excited

Interesting - the infrastructure layer usually wins long term even if it's not flashy. Curious how fast the liquidity actually follows the framework though.

Tokenized equities are the logical next step but liquidity and custody are still the real bottlenecks. curious how AXG actually captures that flow vs just riding the narrative.

Tokenized equities need market makers and custody rails before they get real volume, curious if Solowin has that side built out yet.

🚨SEC OFFICIALLY GREENLIT TOKENIZED U.S. STOCK TRADING🚨 $XRP, $XLM and $HBAR have been building toward this moment for years. I went through the actual SEC order, and one detail changes how I look at all three. The SEC’s new five-year Innovation Exemption allows qualifying Tokenized Securities Venues to trade real tokenized U.S. stocks through permissioned AMMs and liquidity pools on public blockchains. These tokenized shares must preserve the rights of the underlying stock. But here is the part that matters for crypto. A tokenized U.S. stock can be paired with a non-security crypto asset. And the SEC specifically says the exemption does not limit which type of non-security crypto asset a venue can choose. Now go back six months. The SEC’s March interpretation explicitly listed: XRP XLM HBAR as examples of digital commodities. Read those two developments together. For the first time, I can look at a federal framework where a real tokenized U.S. stock and assets like XRP, XLM or HBAR can potentially exist on opposite sides of the same regulated onchain market. Think: Tokenized stock / XRP Tokenized stock / XLM Tokenized stock / HBAR The real opportunity is not a few network fees. It is liquidity. If a professional market maker supports one of those pools, it needs inventory of the paired asset. That is a completely different type of demand. And these three ecosystems have not been sitting around waiting for tokenization to arrive. Ripple and Aviva Investors are already exploring traditional fund tokenization on XRPL. XRPL has native trading infrastructure, AMMs, credentials, permissioning and tokenization tools. Stellar already hosts roughly $4B in tokenized assets, and DTCC/DTC plans to connect its tokenization service to Stellar, with Russell 1000 stocks, major ETFs and U.S. Treasuries among the asset classes being evaluated. Then Hedera already has Archax, with 100+ tokenized assets and $300M+ in value across names including Aberdeen, State Street, Fidelity International, Legal & General and BlackRock-related fund exposure. Lloyds Banking Group has already used tokenized assets on Hedera as collateral for FX activity. That is why this SEC move feels different to me. These networks spent years building the rails. Now U.S. regulation is starting to create an actual market structure where stocks can move onchain and non-security crypto assets can sit directly beside them as liquidity pairs. That is a much bigger story than “tokenization is bullish.” This is traditional securities liquidity and crypto liquidity beginning to meet. $XRP, $XLM and $HBAR are already standing at that intersection. Which digital commodity gets chosen for the first REAL tokenized-stock liquidity pair?

Today, SEC Chair Paul Atkins announced Project Crypto in a landmark speech, a bold initiative to modernize U.S. securities regulation for the blockchain era. His vision charts a clear path forward, one that embraces tokenized securities, stablecoins, and crypto-native infrastructure as core components of American capital markets. Chairman Atkins acknowledged what many in the industry have long experienced: U.S. regulatory ambiguity pushed innovation offshore, leaving both entrepreneurs and investors behind. But the momentum behind tokenization is undeniable: “...firms from household names on Wall Street to unicorn tech companies in Silicon Valley are lined up at our doors with requests to tokenize.” Today’s message is unambiguous: the U.S. must lead in tokenized finance, not follow. At Ondo, we’ve long believed that real-world assets onchain are not a niche innovation, they’re the future operating system of global markets. Project Crypto proposes laying a framework for modernizing markets: 1. Regulatory clarity around tokenized stocks, bonds, and other securities 2. Support for compliant crypto asset distributions, including ICOs and airdrops 3. Modernized custody rules, reaffirming the right to self-custody 4. A vision for “super-apps” that unify crypto services under one regulatory umbrella 5. Innovation exemptions to bring breakthrough technologies to market faster Legacy frameworks have excluded U.S. investors from innovation, and Project Crypto promises the opposite: a future where American capital formation happens onchain, and U.S. markets lead. We are encouraged by Chairman Atkins' vision and committed to building the infrastructure that will power America's tokenized economy.

🌋 Warning: DTCC Just Got the Green Light. The $3.7 Quadrillion Monster Goes Onchain in 2026 Today, the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation received an SEC No Action Letter allowing them to tokenize real world, DTC-custodied assets on blockchain. This is historic. DTCC settles about 3.7 quadrillion dollars every year. It is the core settlement engine behind nearly every stock trade, ETF movement, and Treasury transfer in the United States. And they are now cleared to begin rolling out tokenization in 2026. This is not a pilot and not a test. The SEC has formally authorized a tokenization service for highly liquid assets including: • The Russell 1000 • Major index ETFs • U.S. Treasury bills, notes, and bonds These are some of the deepest liquidity pools on earth. Each tokenized asset will carry the same rights, protections, and ownership structure as the traditional version. This mirrors the digital twin model that Nasdaq filed for earlier this year. This is the first real path to onchain U.S. securities. DTCC has been testing DLT for almost a decade. Securrency’s patents, now owned by DTCC, reference multiple networks including Hedera (HBAR), XRP Ledger, Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and there are already deep integrations with Chainlink (LINK). And this isn’t happening in a vacuum. The Global Blockchain Business Council has been building a multi-network risk mitigation framework with contributors like DTCC, Hedera, Ripple, Cardano (ADA), Avalanche (AVAX), Clearstream, Euroclear, Canton (CC) and Chainlink. These trials are being overseen by the World Bank. The framework is designed to give institutions a safe and standardized path to use public networks. It is the clearest signal that a multi-chain future is already being engineered behind the scenes. This also lines up with OCC guidance confirming that U.S. national banks can now buy and sell crypto for customers as a riskless principal. Banks plus DTCC plus regulatory clarity is the digital market structure that institutions have been waiting for. DTCC will soon publish: • Approved blockchain networks • Wallet registration requirements • Onboarding standards for institutions • Compliance and reporting frameworks We will finally see which networks will be used in production. This is the moment crypto shifts from asset class to infrastructure. TradFi is not speculating. They are rebuilding the settlement layer of global finance on distributed ledger technology. Tokenization is no longer a narrative. It is a regulated roadmap. Rollout begins in the second half of 2026. The internet of information is literally becoming the internet of value.
