Why were the 2000s so creative?

Back when Walmart wasn't a fkin embarrassment lol

Tony and Tim lol

This commercial was 23yrs ago, which is roughly the same amount of time between from VHS < DVDs; the former became much more widespread in the mid-80's, when players became more affordable to everyday consumers

I used to chill with these dudes at wal mart - we would leave produce to rot next to the dvds

2003 television was not this blown out. Stop with the unnecessary filters man…

This is exactly what Walmart felt like to me as a kid from a small town lol cool and fun

Say what you want about Walmart but at least they still sell physical media because physical media will always be the king of media formats.

they are rapping or they speak that way? 😭😭

Back when auditioning with frosted tips increased the likelihood of getting a part in a commercial.

such a horrible time for culture & especially commercials 🤢

If we got anything out of the last 20 years its cheaper tvs

Imagine being an actor and having to do that first two seconds over and over again

If we had just stopped around 2008 we’d be good

@DominicVerdin66

DVD's reached their peak of popularity in 2004

They remind me of these guys

Look what they took from us.

Wow, I remember it

@lys_onya

The LOTR moment.

@Prestonshepadog I bet they ate kids and r*ped them

Maaan...I felt multiple shots of childhood thrown back at me

@AmesStores needs to make a comeback with a huge DVD section

after The Shape Store i dont know if this is AI or not

Idk.

Funny how Blu-ray ended up being a passing fad, meanwhile DVD is still what everything comes out on.

Great memories. While I was five years old and later turning six years old on September 23rd, 2003.

This man quoted Lil Wyte!! “Whatchu want, whatchu need” 🤣
