Today took a live video from the ever-busy Holy Cross Road–Link Road junction — a spot that’s not just bustling, but also officially under Defect Liability Period (DLP). Despite the माझी Mumbai, आपली BMC ‘s Municipal Commissioner’s clear orders to fill potholes immediately, the ground reality is shameful. Potholes as deep as 6 inches have been lying unattended for over 10 days. Once dry, a tack coat of bitumen emulsion is applied, followed by filling with asphalt and compacting using tampers, compactors, or rollers. In India, you can simply dump construction debris into potholes, roll it over, and put up a bill that could fund the construction of a completely new road at that spot. 📍 Somewhere in Mumbai.

Why can't माझी Mumbai, आपली BMC माझी Mumbai, आपली BMCinfra construct a pedestrian skywalk about 8 ft wide properly with a slope. Rains for 10 minutes & the water doesn't drain away for 3/4 days, Why? bcoz the slope is inwards towards the center. The same with the flyover ahead. The kerb is always waterlogged. Either they forgot drains, or maybe it's choked or the slope is missing. Pedestrians are forced to walk on the edges on trudge on the dirty water. Just asking do we need to approach IIT Bombay or VJTI Mumbai to find a Fix for this? The biggest problem with Mumbai's footpaths is माझी Mumbai, आपली BMC itself Entire city is dug up, and footpaths are blocked for reconstruction. There is illegal parking on both sides of the road, forcing pedestrians to walk in the middle of the road. This is Mahavir Nagar, Kandivali West.

A public playground/Recreation ground at Link Road Borivali, that was rented out by माझी Mumbai, आपली BMC माझी Mumbai, आपली BMCwardRC in 2016 for two months to hold a temporary "Fruit Festival Market" has become a permanent illegal Fruit Bazaar. Neither is any charges (which is running into crores) recovered nor is it being demolished. Seems local authorities are pocketing the money & depriving the citizens Open Public Spaces. Our society anand prakash , kondivitta, Andheri East redevelopment has been stuck since decades due to illegal Shops and slums in front of it.
