I'm old, I would love a breast reduction. It's not covered by insurance because it's elective cosmetic surgery & I could never afford it. My gynecologist joked - if I say I am a man, suddenly it's taxpayer funded life-saving surgery! She was only half joking.

My colleague's son just got breast implants, the surgery was covered by insurance. While he was getting surgery, his mother talked to another mother whose daughter was having her breast removed, also covered by insurance. What will their future be like, their mental health, their physical health? 💔

Truly abhorrent because there are just so many kids being mutulated. We know that kids brains don’t fully develop until they are about 25. The doctor’s preforming the surgery and the hospitals should all be sued into oblivion. When you listen to the detransions kids it’s heartbreaking because they receive no help!

I hadn’t thought about the gynecological changes that she will have to suffer with when she’s my age - a post menopausal woman. Without sufficient estrogen she will likely experience UTI after UTI after UTI. A horrible existence and it can be quite deadly.
