His speech was pretty hawkish just in case you didn't know

If you actually watched the whole thing he was criticizing how antiquated everything at the Fed is

Yes, so he means: DON’T WORRY, THEY WILL ERASE THOSE DOTS AGAIN WHEN INFLATION DROPS DUE TO IRAN DEAL ! This is dovish !! But nobody gets it 😂😂

Talk about saying “Old system” Without saying…

The market heard hawkish. I heard optionality. Warsh didn’t submit his own dot. Then he basically said the dots are written in pencil with big erasers. That matters. He sounded tough today, but he also refused to trap himself tomorrow. If oil keeps falling and inflation cools, he gets the cover to soften later. So no, I’m not saying cuts are guaranteed. But I do think the market may be overreading today’s hawkish tone. This looked less like: “rates are definitely going higher” and more like: “I’m not giving you guidance, I’ll move when the data lets me.” That is a very different setup.

That is dovish tone atleast.

Dangerous guy. a lot easier to manipulate decisions if there is less information. Chossen by Trump, he will lower rates and destroyed the USD.

Like 2024!!!!!!!!!!

@LynAldenContact is this Hawkish?

Pencils in a dot plot is such a quietly revealing detail. Strange little signal.

This guy is an absolute snake.

Powell made them use sharpies? wtf lol 😂

"We have a task force for that"

Make it sound hawkish, let friends and family buy risk on assets at lowest price possible, then cut rates. Done.

Dry as sand

@Svanhedengai1 I like this guy

Tact used by someone who actually gets it.

The Fed is utterly useless

Pencil dick knows his pencils.

they lost touch with reality 🤕 this never ends well

So they're signaling hikes while literally using erasers?
