100%.. refusal to identify and resisting. Just comply when given a lawful order and things go smooth. 👍

Complying is always the best choice no matter what — But I have to defend the driver in this situation… listen to the tone of his voice and how he even tried to have a civil conversation after he was tased… no punches were thrown at the officer… he seemed like a very civil citizen that didn’t want any issues… I’m with the driver on this one!

"This is not lawful" "I requested your supervisor" Yes, it is lawful. No, you do not have a "right" to refuse compliance until a supervisor arrives, at your request. I get that it sucks being pulled over and harassed by cops, for anyone of any color. I also get that black people get harassed more than white people, and so their tolerance for harassment is lower. But really? You think it is worth this outcome? To avoid compliance? When the cop asked for your ID & reg? Instead of giving i tto him, you demanded to see a supervisor? This is on you dude: You are doing a stupid thing, instead of the easy thing, and so you are getting a stupid result.

Need more information. Idk about why he pulled him or any of that. I would’ve just called my supervisor though lol you got a 10 hour shift, why not go through some time? He escalated so much so quick.

He brought this on himself, all he had to do was comply with the officer. TSTL.
