It's a hard question. I love the internet because it brings me friends, my work, all of you guys… X. But I think it was better before, because we were a lot more free.

Very few people live in the moment. The smartphone has detached us from fully doing that.

It is certainly different. Some things worse some better. Our addiction to it is the issue.

One could argue life before TV was better, as people were more active and social. Fridays were spent listening to radio fights, Saturdays square dancing or polka, and Sundays at church, followed by family dinners and radio dramas that engaged the imagination. These were shared by families and communities. Now we are connected across the world yet isolated from everyone.

I pray for a massive emp to end it all, makes me laugh that they say it would bring about the end of the world, we managed just fine without it for many many years, the Internet and tech has destroyed the family unit, in the 80s the whole family would sit together to watch Saturday night TV or other shows during the week, now everyone has there only streaming shows and watches separately in different rooms or the kids are only interested in playing online or interacting with their friends online, not playing outside and being creative, for any good the Internet has done the bad far outweighs that good, I could go on on but I just wish it would be gone forever
