Muhammad Ali faced WBA light heavyweight champion Bob Foster in Stateline, Nevada, during the rebuilding phase of Ali’s career. Foster was no ordinary opponent. He was a long, powerful, technically skilled champion with serious knockout power, making him a legitimate danger despite fighting below Ali’s heavyweight division.
